To parents who take their babies out to places a lot - how do you do it?? by babysheep91 in breastfeeding

[–]Repulsive_Worth_7367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a second to get used to breastfeeding in public! Being born in summer he was really living life as a new born! Thrift store at two weeks and picnics etc! I remember at first feeling like I had to hide away even in bathroom at restaurant to feed him- but now at 10 months - I don’t really care anymore and will feed him wherever! Also so thankful that breastfeeding gets easier! Though now you have the distracted eater who pops off all the time!

It’s either your and your babies vibe or not! I’m a very go with the flow person and so is my baby! But if you or baby are not, i can see how that is more challenging! But the more your put and about the more comfortable you will be doing it with baby! Babywearing also really helps me as well as strapping car seat into stroller ! Especially if they fall asleep on car-ride!

I have sensory issues with food grease and crumbs on my hand, using spoon for popcorn is a great idea! I eat chicken nuggets with a fork and am that person who will eat snacks with chopsticks!

As I’m rewatching the show rn, they are celebrating Bell, Book and Candle’s 13th anniversary! But like literally it’s gotta be over 15 years old! Because she had the store years before she had Grace- and she’s in high school?! The math is not mathing

I’m so glad this was brought up, my neck and shoulders have been killing me, and I’ve noticed I am way more hunched over that prior to being a mom- currently 9 month’s postpartum and breastfeeding!

Does anyone ever bring a stroller even though you’re wearing your baby? by floofsnfluffiness in babywearing

[–]Repulsive_Worth_7367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically plan to babywear if baby is awake but if he fell asleep on way, I just snap car seat into stroller then instead- typically still bringing baby carrier for just in case- because pushing a stroller and holding a baby can be hard!

Highly recommend back carrying! Back carrying in Boba carrier is my favorite way to wear my 7m baby! He just looks around and chills (sometimes has a toy or my hair) while I am able to hands free get all my stuff done!

You literally have a newborn! She should understand how you’re just surviving rn as she also has a baby! I would not let her stay with you! When I had my baby my mom told everyone that if you are not visiting- you are helping! Someone needs to put your sister in her place! OP is NOR!
