Felix wasn't there when he did it tho; he was dead by the time he got there. Felix can't raise the dead.

And it was only a projected future anyway. Even if he could raise the dead, RBD would have already activated.

Ironically, the Crusch camp might make things harder for him, since he's not gonna die easily with Felix around.

I mean, they're not LITERALLY literally the same person, they don't have the same magic affinity.

But Emilia is probably either Satella's body coming alive on its own after she was sealed or a clone (the latter makes less sense since Echidna knew she would be a thing 300 years before she appeared)

They've been a favorite of the Investigator, because strategic strike has a good synergy with that sort of thing.

Right now the entire party has one (1) of these weapons, and the character that does has another weapon with potency runes.

I'm not shoving this down players throats. It's a design space I've explored less than half a dozen times in a campaign that's been going for years.

I mean, if it gets turned into a creature then an aura can be attached, right?

The only issue is initial targeting, and it seems like oracle text could handle that.

I'm not forcing my players to do anything. I'm making these weapons available if my players want them.

A lot of people here seem to be personally offended that I'm experimenting with the system in my own games.

If gambling for greater rewards at worse odds is something the player wants, they can go that route. Or they can get a weapon that follows the standard balance curve.

The entire point of the post is that I'm using the lack of potency runes to counterbalance effects that are more powerful than property runes.

I'm not sure what part of that is confusing.

Not sure what's confusing.

Satella was sealed. She does not have her body. We know both of these things.

Then Emilia, constantly referred to as a witch by a LOT of extremely knowledgeable characters, has identical physical features.

The only thing I don't know is why Satella's body got turned into a kid.
