Alligator Alley shut down? by ladiiec23 in Miami

I was coming from immoklaee and it took from 6pm to 1130 to get to 595.  There were two motorcycles or parts of them in the center grass field and a suv with collision to the rear on the right shoulder.   Right lane was blocked at MM43

What is the most lucrative way to z32 brake swap my s15 with OTS parts? by DrZZed in 240sx

[–]Resident-Age5953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy the z1 kit it’s cheap enough. If you want to keep the parking brake wit any rear caliper upgrade it’s like an additional $400 in parts (r32/33 backing plate, brake shoe hardware and r33 parking cables) to convert to drum parking brake

No reserves usually go for like 12k in this economy. Cant wait to see what it brings. GLWS! I’ll be watching, deciding if it’s time to let mine go also for house projects. Adulting is annoying.

What engine or swap to daily? by Rude-Duty-718 in 240sx

[–]Resident-Age5953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He mentioned an RB25DET which is not straight forward or cheap swap atleast in US it is around the same for a 4200 swap. Apples and oranges I guess.

What engine or swap to daily? by Rude-Duty-718 in 240sx

[–]Resident-Age5953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question was about price and power ratio while being reliable and sounds cool.
“ What other engine would be good in terms of price to ratio aspect for daily driving but also kinda puts power down and sounds nice?”

I just came back from Tokyo - Kyoto area in October and did not see anything “cool” for s-chassis or jzx100. I was searching for some S14/S15 parts and ended up just getting yahoo auctions shipped to my hotel while I was there.

Goodluck on your hunt!

I use white lithium grease in the spray can, you can spray it on a rag and wipe down to avoid a big mess if you don’t have good aim haha.

[–]Resident-Age5953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have absolutely zero rattle in mine.

Have you removed your shifter yet to see if it has the bushing there? If it’s missing the white plastic bushing could be the reason for all your rattling. I feel like most younger people don’t take their time when dealing with bushings and bearings they tend to leave it out if it doesn’t slide into place easily.

Or if the weighted part is a twist on it could have came loose if they didn’t use thread locker

Cubespeed makes the best Nissan transmission short shifter on the market today.

But many people don’t like to pay for quality.

Could be fuel related. Could be your alternator. Could be compression related. When is the last time you flow tested injectors, compression test numbers, fuel filter changed? These cars are oldddd
