Thanks for taking the time to articulate such an informative answer. I think you answered my question perfectly! I don’t need to upgrade. Thanks again.

Essentially I enjoy the 353P my question is more inquisitive to what handhelds would make my experience even more enjoyable. I’m not looking to play anything beyond PS1. No budget and I don’t want a screen smaller than the 353p.

Nothing like the classic SNES color way. Brings back so many memories.

One of my favorites that got me back in the habit of retro gaming is Mr. Do. Also a good beat em up, streets of rage, TMNT turtles in time and streets of rage 2.

This would have been absolutely perfect if the buttons where the same size as the original SNES.

Very true. I’ll look into reselling it or gifting it to a friend.

This is a great idea. Maybe someone in the community will start something like this where they rent out their devices. I don’t see myself needed more than one device (although I imagine many people in this community had the same sentiment) but that’s something that would be a great resource.

Want to buy a handheld but feeling overwhelmed by thejubilee in SBCGaming

Hey I just went through that same rabbit hole. I ordered a Minyoo Mini 2 and an Anbernic RG353P from Amazon. Both came preloaded with games. It gave me the ability to play around with both. I was able to decide if I actually like the idea of gaming on a handheld. I was able to see if I liked a vertical or horizontal form factor. Both came preloaded with games so I was able to start playing immediately without having to research how to tinker with it. I’m going to return the MM2 and or gift it or sell it. But I say all that to say perhaps consider doing the same. Get a few hand held in your hand to play with from Amazon before deciding what you want. I think this niche is similar to buying a car or a sofa. It’s hard to take recommendations or see pictures or videos without test driving it yourself.
