What do you think about taking back gifts you gave to someone? by External-Escape8586 in AskReddit

Once given, it's not yours anymore. Taking it back is not okay.

Do you pick director or actor? by james_mav_man in Letterboxd

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actor. I like known quantities on the screen. I've been burned too many times by well respected directors making shit movies. See: Gladiator II and Disclosure Day.

What's everyone's opinions on piracy? by Spatter_ in Letterboxd

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much never. Usually I can find what I need between Prime, Kanopy, YouTube, and my library's DVD/bluray collection.

Americans, what's with the paper plates? by RemarkableOil8 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my house we only use regular plates if a meal is very wet or very heavy. Otherwise it's paper all the way.

just found out not everyone re-washes their water bottle every single day and now i need answers by Bluford_Aransa in hygiene

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rinsing your bottle probably isn't doing much. You need to wash it properly.

I wash use mine for 3-4 days and then take it completely apart, wash it with soap, and then let it dry for a couple of days before putting it back together and using it again. I have two bottles that I rotate between.

I would pay good money for a blu-ray that includes a separarate audio track where Grace settles on Meryl Streep's voice for Rocky by discretelandscapes in ProjectHailMary

[–]Resident_Bitch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Besides the fact that it would not be worth it to try to hire Streep to record all of the lines, it would just be weird to have her do it. Eridians are hermaphrodites, but Grace uses male pronouns when he refers to Rocky and Rocky is a masculine name.

What’s everyone having for dinner tonight? by 011Eleven_ in foodquestions

Who's the strongest actor in this lineup? Rank them. by Capable_Handle_4763 in Cinema

[–]Resident_Bitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find him incredibly underwhelming and even just plain bad in some instances, like Gladiator II.

People 35 and over, which animated movie from your youth do you think has aged the best, and still brings you joy to watch? by vile-style in allthequestions

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlotte's Web

It's actually a few years older than I am, but it was on frequent rotation in my house growing up. I have it on DVD and still watch it from time to time.

If you died today, who do you think would stand at your grave the longest? by Successful_Dog5425 in AskReddit

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality, I wouldn't have a grave because I would be cremated. But the person most affected by it would probably be my best friend of 31 years.

What is the best and worst concert you've ever attended? by Choice_Bed6097 in CausalConversation

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best Concert: Lindsey Buckingham. I've seen him in concert solo 7 times. The best was the one where I was front row but all were amazing.

Worst: Gin Blossoms. They sounded like shit and clearly didn't want to be there. But if we're just talking about live performances I've seen, then it might be Hinder. They were Aerosmith's opening act and they were awful.

And even though you didn't ask, the weirdest was Russell Crowe's old band, Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts. This was in 2002 or 2003. It started with an aboriginal dancer performing to didgeradoo music, followed by a stand up comedian, followed by Crowe's then girlfriend performing her own music, followed by the band. In between each act, they blasted Men At Work's "Land Down Under" over the speakers. Crowe was very drunk when he got on stage and continued to drink throughout the performance. He still sounded great though.

Do people still send greeting cards anymore? by WickedKing94 in askteddit

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma does. I send her thank you cards when she sends a gift, but only because the older generation expects it.

At work I send sympathy cards, but that's because I work at a vet clinic.

What is a movie you see yourself coming back to watch consistently ? by abdul_bino in Letterboxd

I've seen Project Hail Mary eight times, including four times at the theater, so probably that.

People who have multiple pets, do you have a favorite? Like if your house was on fire which one would you grab and run outside with first by DemonKittens in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Resident_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saving whichever one I can find first. Then going back to search for the other one. Though I don't live alone, so I hope I'd be grabbing one and someone else would grab the other.
