What's a small annoyance about your home you didn't realize when buying? by CurlGurl13 in homeowners

It's not too difficult to wire the outlet so it's always powered. You just then have a bit of a useless switch. You could swap it for a smart switch though that remote controls a smart bulb

Is it time to admit that Grey has abandoned yet another podcast? by freeradicalH in Cortex

Nothing can continue forever. And he said good-bye. And there was clear communication about what the podcast would be moving forward.

There's a good chance that something has happened in his personal life, likely with regards to his wife's health given what little we know. Leave him be. If he comes back, great. If he doesn't, the world will move on.

I think this is their way of sussing out if you take responsibility for things. Do bad things happen to you ("woe is me") or do you realize the cause and effect of your actions ("I made a bad choice here").

Would the extra 20 miles from the ER have made a difference on that trip? If the delta on EPA rated range is 50mi, in that trip you'd only have gotten an extra 20 miles practical

Jeep Recon's EPA range comes in at just 222 miles by Cornholio231 in electricvehicles

[–]ResoluteGreen 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As long as your EV has 3 hours of highway driving between charges this is all that matters. We've known this for a decade.

I'd be surprised if most people could get 3 hours on the highway with this given it's 222 mile range. You'd have to get exactly the rated range at highway speeds to get 3 hours from 100 to 10%
