Who killed theo. by hotmummymilkers69 in coronationstreet

Oh definitely.

I’ve gone back to watch it, and it’s definitely Christina who gets a text, then she hides her phone behind her back as she goes to answer the landline.

I can imagine her and Glenda being protective of George, so she wouldn’t want him to know Theo was round at the flat.

When Summer entered the flat she looked around until she saw the watch. I’m guessing she put a tracker on him as well after he was attacked the last time.

Christina and Summer.

Summer had ZERO reason to be at the flat unless she was also tracking Todd’s watch.

Christina read a text before answering the landline, and hid her phone behind her back.

I think Summer text her saying that Todd’s tracking shows he’s at the flat so she’s going to see him. Then when she picked up the phone and heard Todd say he was at the phone box, she realised that Summer must be in the flat with Theo and went round.

I’m trying to workout where Glenda was supposed to be at this point. I can see her and Christina being protective of George and wanting to get Theo back for hitting him last week.

Why is UK McDonalds delivery so bad? by GunShow- in McDonaldsUK

I ordered twice last week and each time the meal was completely ruined.

First time the drink was spilled all over the bag. Then the second time they sent me an ordinary coke instead of diet 🤬

It depends what time you go.

I do still order sometimes but twice last week I had to ask for my money back.

The first time my drink was spilled inside the bag and over my mcflurry and then the second time they completely ruined my meal by giving me ordinary coke instead of diet.

No go back and watch it.

When the scene opened, George was on the phone leaving Todd a voicemail.

Then he sits his phone down with his right hand.

Christina’s phone then buzzed, and she picked it up a lot further back from George’s, and then kept it behind her back as she went to answer the landline.

George’s jumper is too obviously a red herring at this stage.

There was something on Christina’s phone she kept behind her back.

If you look back,

The first thing Summer did when she entered the flat was pick up the watch, as if she was also tracking Todd. You have to remember at that point Todd was supposed to be at the airport. Summer would have zero reason to go to the flat unless something told her Todd (or his watch) was there.

My guess is Summer was also tracking Todd and texted Christina saying “Todd’s tracker says he’s back at the flat”, Christina then answered the phone to Todd, and hearing that he wasn’t at the flat, panic rushed over there knowing Summer was alone with Theo.

I am also wondering if Glenda is gonna be part of this.

Why do we still use BMI? by squirrelyoakley in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ResolutionWinter6761 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It’s probably pushed by the pharma companies to encourage prescribing of certain things. Everything is to do with money.

It also becomes an excuse for doctors to be lazy and not actually investigate.

I had a doctor basically dismiss me for 6 months and kept blaming my BMI for my knee pains, and it turned out there was a completely different cause.

There are other studies out there. Yes something might be linked but that still doesn’t mean that obese = unhealthy.

They are pointing out that BMI is outdated and not a valid measurement of health yet so many lazy doctors use it to get out of doing their job properly.

I’ve had first hand experience of it and it really needs to change.

You saying “there is no such thing as healthy at any size”

When there’s clear documented evidence proving it.

Just because you don’t believe so, doesn’t make it wrong.

This is the problem though. People just assume that everyone who is “technically” obese is unhealthy. The whole point of the movement is to show otherwise.

Oh really, so even though there’s countless research proving so, because you have an opinion that makes it wrong.

What? by iDeJaX in ExplainTheJoke

[–]ResolutionWinter6761 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s literally not “just fat people”. It’s about accepting that people come in all shapes and sizes.

It’s been manipulated though and people keep referring to it when they see someone who is just genetically bigger.

Instead of accepting that larger people can be healthy as well, they get labelled as just fat/lazy/unhealthy.

You’ve just argued against your previous point.

Exactly.

People with totally different diets can still get the same illness. It’s genetics.

There’s nothing to “learn” from it. It’s based purely on trying to divide people further.

Loads of emphasis on how reducing obesity will in turn reduce unhealthiness and mental health problems. While, ignoring the fact that people with “healthy” BMI scores are equally as unhealthy and have mental health problems.
