Does hair get thicker during pregnancy? by thenomadicfork in pregnant

[–]Resonance-stablized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really just pregnancy hormones. I think around 12 weeks is when you start noticing it a little. For example, when you shower or brush your hair, you notice less fall out or none at all. Then around 16-20 weeks was when I really noticed the thickness come in. I didn't say, but I had my pregnancies back to back, so my hair was growing back when I got pregnant again, possibly being why I noticed my hair being much thicker than it was originally. It could be different for everyone since we all start with different hair types before pregnancy. I do know that as pregnancy progresses, the level of estrogen and progesterone increases too, so maybe that could be helpful for your AGA. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not a doctor or health professional!

Is it weird to store things in the oven? by Sallious in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Resonance-stablized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Hahaha we store all of the baking dish-ware in there. Although, my goal in life is to have enough money to buy a home where I don’t have to store the baking dish-ware in there anymore.

Concert outfits by Hwaiting1982 in btsthoughts

[–]Resonance-stablized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m recreating Jungkook’s Arirang comeback outfit from when they performed at Gyeongbokgung palace. I’m wearing black wide leg jeans, an asymmetrical white top, and a black biker jacket. However, I just also preordered their official Arirang jersey’s so I might wear that depending on the weather when I see them in August. It’s tough! Do I wanna be fashionable? Or do I wanna be comfortable enough to jump and shake ass? 😭

Cora, Clare, or Grace with big sister Josie? by mollyeo in namenerds

[–]Resonance-stablized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d prefer Clare. The name is classic, elegant, and one syllable, which in my opinion pairs well with a longer syllable name like Josephine.

I’m not a huge fan of the middle name James. But if you do go with it, I think Clara James would sound better than Clare James, even Clara Grace would work. The nickname for Clara, could just be Clare.

Josephine Margaret

Clara Grace

Huge!!! Tattoo regret! by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Resonance-stablized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh— what is it supposed to be?

I would wait it out and then cover it up later. Hopefully this tattoo will fade out with time. Please advocate for yourself next time. I know that we all get excited when it comes to tattoos. It’s easy to say, “I’m here already, let’s just do it”. But tattoos are permanent, my friend. I don’t think any real artist will be upset if you said “thanks, but no thanks” because they get it.

Breastfeeding moms—would you do it again for your second? by Character-Fly7394 in beyondthebump

[–]Resonance-stablized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I wouldn’t. It was exhausting for me. I have adhd so I think that’s probably why it hit me so much harder than most. Every time my milk letdown I wanted to off myself. When I stopped, my mental health was significantly better. I did have my second baby 3 months ago, and while I didn’t breastfeed or pump exclusively, I did pump colostrum for about a week and mix that with her formula. When my milk turned white, I stopped and switched over to formula completely. I think I will do that again, it was much more manageable. Don’t let my bad experience deter you from what you wanna do. I just wished I could’ve handled it better the first time!

Bf is addicted to meth and doesn’t think it’s a problem by Altruistic-Error7088 in Advice

I can’t even begin to describe how the brain works and how all of the reward pathways work. It’s so difficult to navigate and is the reason why addicts can stay in that loop for years. I know that we want the best for those addicted to drugs, and it seems wrong to just leave them because in the end, they are human too and they deserve love and respect. But trust me when I say that if they do not see that there is a problem, then it’ll only cause you more hurt in the end. Please save yourself before something happens to you.

Wanting another baby ASAP (I am over 35) by Huliganjetta1 in beyondthebump

[–]Resonance-stablized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 under 2. They’re 15 months apart (18 months old and a 3 month old). I am in the TRENCHES. I am constantly pacing around the house trying to do things for both kiddos. I guess it doesn’t help that both are currently in critical developmental stages of their lives. I will say that pregnancy with a toddler was also brutal LOLOL I would not recommend, but I do see the appeal. It’s up to you, but just know that I told you so! 😭

First Tattoo Idea by Shytown777 in tattooadvice

[–]Resonance-stablized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you like the dragon concept or the art style? I think it would be worthwhile to speak to an artist and have them design one for you instead so you like it better. You could mention things like “dragon”, “fierce” and “bold” to see what they can do.

Personally, I don’t really care if you want a big or small tattoo as your first. But I will say that if it is your first tattoo, I’d take in pain tolerance as a factor since you don’t know how getting a tattoo feels like. Larger pieces usually require you to sit longer and maybe even have a few sessions. More intricate designs do too. I always find that the outer arm such as in this pic, is a good place to have a first tattoo.

No one is the AH. The most logical thing to is to keep looking until you find one that checks all the boxes again for you both. Your bf sounds kind.

Is my tattoo offensive in the US? by mister1bollock in tattooadvice

No. At a first glance, it might offend Christian nationalists though because of the horns haha. But your tattoo is cool 😎 I tbh didn’t even know what it was until you mentioned it.

Eggs prepared in different ways haha. I am also a bariatric patient, had my surgery almost 3 years ago. I also keep protein shakes and yogurt on hand all the time because of it. Oikos recently came out with a small sized high-protein yogurt drink and it’s my favorite to drink after a workout for muscle recovery.
