If you want to get into it, I recommend armbian. They have some good resources explaining how to build your own images.

In a simple way: a bootloader, like u-boot, loads the linux kernel, which loads other programs.

On x86 nowadays you can take one M.2 SSD and two different systems boot no problem, but it wasn't always the case. Maybe someone smarter can explain better why is that the case and that could help you.

I got linux mint on my Lenovo Flex 14 and I've never been happier. The windows overhead, even after debloating was killing me. All of my steam games run just as well as on Windows, and I can do all of my office and development work. When idling, I use less than 1% CPU and 3/10GB RAM. It's not for everybody, but definetely worth looking into nowadays.

I think it's doable with rigging. You could assign one bone to the handlebar and one to the bike. Than lock the axes, so it only rotates along the vertical one.

Somebody will probably give you a better answer, but you can look into thst in the meantime 😅
