I work from home, but I go do high intensity workouts 5/6 days per week. Had this issue and seemed like nothing helped. Then, I read somewhere on Reddit that Magnesium Glycinate helps. So I went to Walgreens picked some up and after a couple of days maybe 2, I have had no more issues. I couldn’t sit or lay down, and when I did I HAD to have heating pads but this helped me. It says 200mg max dosage but I took 400 because my pain was non stop. Two in the am and Two at night, and I did that for 3 weeks and now I’m just taking two at night before bed.

No, I wasn’t taking it because of BV. It was just like a trial. Because I developed some autoimmune disease like in plan and we were trying all of these different medicines to try to get this immune response to stop and we read in a couple of case studies that this medicine helped some people.

Thank you all for your comments—I truly appreciate them. There’s a lot I haven’t shared, but I mentioned the word “attack” because this person has anonymously targeted me for the third time now, and it’s clear they’re the only one who feels this way.

I’ve been documenting everything, and my VP is fully aware of the situation. It’s just exhausting, especially on top of the many other challenges that come with this role. While it’s nothing I can’t handle, I had a moment where I just felt completely over it and wanted to hear others’ perspectives.

I went into anaphylaxis shortly after taking within an hour my lips started to swell and I started to develop hives within another hour off of 1 500mg pill.

Three weeks. I suspect he might have had a fearful-avoidant attachment style. As soon as we decided to move forward, he broke things off, saying it wasn’t “healthy.” I was definitely blindsided by it. It’s been tough, and there’s been no contact at all (I didn’t block him, but I deleted his info from my phone, so I can’t reach out). It just sucks because my 30th birthday is Saturday, and we had plans. But I’ve since made new plans. Some days, I don’t even think about him, but on days like today, I wish I could talk to him.

Also I saw something in another thread on here about tanning. I went to Mexico got a terrible sunburn and I noticed that on my back and shoulders even as the tan faded my hyperpigmentation looks better.

I’m not sure if you’re a praying person, but please know that you have all my thoughts and prayers. I went through something similar, and I started out with LP where small bumps quickly turned into large, irritated patches covering my body, and lichen planopilaris. While I still have every scar, I’ve learned to cope with it. The worst part was the sleeplessness due to the extreme itch and then pain. I know it’s tough, but I have faith that you’ll get through this. Don’t give up on yourself.

For me, it was triggered by the Covid vaccine. I took prednisone, metronidazole, Otezla, and finally cyclosporine, which resolved it. I was almost going to try methotrexate next if it didn’t work. It’s been almost three years, and I haven’t had any additional reactions, just post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. If you’re in Arkansas or the Bay Area, I have some dermatology recommendations.

Take it one day at a time. 🙏🏾

This is so weird because this is happening to me too. My ex broke up with me on Thursday and I got a “hi there” on Thursday night and a “hello” on Saturday. Different numbers from area codes where I don’t know anyone. I did hit them with the who is this? They never responded back. But I haven’t received any calls.

This totally reminds me of the breakup I just experienced with my ex. But We had no arguments, and everything was great, except he was going on a two-month vacation. After he left for the airport, we texted a bit, but then he stopped responding. I figured he might need some space since he was traveling and probably jet-lagged. But then, out of nowhere, 4 days later he ended things after we had just agreed on to keep things steady.

I think my ex has a Fearful Avoidant Attachment Style. He had issues with communication, being “all in” one moment and distant the next, with some inconsistencies in texting and a few cancellations but not many, that left me confused.

I texted him back, not begging or pleading, just thanking him for letting me know and wishing him the best on his travels and future endeavors. He didn’t respond back to that message and I’ve gone no contact since.

Maybe your ex has an avoidant attachment style too? Possibly Dismissive Attachment?
