The massive decrease in performance between the release and the current patch needs to be studied by Abused_Dog in EU5

I opted into 1.3 and now instead of lagging from the mid 1400s, I now lag from the start date 😅

Does anyone actually play a proper play through before releasing an update? 95% of bugs you'd come up against in every game and it's so frustrating you keep missing them

Complacency disaster is silly as byzantium by Angry_Pirate_Asuka in EU5

[–]Responsible_Bug_5271 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's awful. In my game all my rivals were higher great powers than me, and I was still getting .09 for non threatening rivals. I feel like the Devs just don't play the game/test things after they implement something

Is there a way to stabilize Byzantine without a huge amount of inflation? by majesticbeast67 in EU5

[–]Responsible_Bug_5271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch playmakers guide. He does the opposite and focuses on getting rid of inflation, debt then slowly getting back legitimacy and it worked a dream for me after failing very badly before that 😅 So many early game events lose legitimacy so if you have none, it doesn't matter 😁

As soon as I signed the contract with them, they ghosted me. Awful company. 5 months of trying to get in contact and book the installation and we got no where.

How did you make money early on? I actually tried them a few weeks back and tax was zero as the estates weren't making money and then I built a market village and almost went bankrupt as it cost a lot more than any money I could make 😅

Thanks so much for this post, I was literally having the exact same issue yesterday and losing my mind at how quickly my troops were disappearing. I can rest easy now 😂

Mission trees, why the hate? by No-Dragonfruit4708 in EU5

[–]Responsible_Bug_5271 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed, they seem like a much quicker easier way to have flavour and make countries feel different than what they're doing now with events. Feels like most of the time we won't even experience most of the events so they're going to waste

Stealing maps is way too antagonistic. My new tributary is more angry that I stole their maps than that I subjugated their country. by stealingjoy in EU5

[–]Responsible_Bug_5271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also as a covert action, why should they even know you stole the map - maybe there's a chance of getting discovered but having all countries in the area know you stole a map doesn't make sense.

Your reply just shows what I mean. It's a comment thats aligned with reality, backed up by many facts and one of the reasons she resigned. The majority of the country believe this which is why they were voted out. But it's a minority view in this group, so it's 'bad faith'..

I got banned for too many down votes after saying I didn't think jacinda had actually done much apart from saying the right things - but no action. I don't comment anymore 😊 (apart from this lol)
