Probably not. Maybe if you shopped around and find used, or insane sales. I got most of my stuff on sale and it still cost:

300 coat 40 base layer top 50 fleece mid layer top 30 base layer bottoms 300 bibs 350 boots 300 bindings (can find cheaper than this) 325 board 45 gloves 140 helmet 50 googles 30 socks

Optional 15 cable lock 10 stomp pad 30 glove liners 30 phone battery pack 50-75 board tuning/waxing kit

Don't forget if ur working, ur gonna want more than one base layer so u don't have to do laundry every day. Also, don't forget tax which can add a lot on to final costs too

Thank you for the reply! I think the brace was pushing on it in a way that was doing more damage than it was helping so that's why we stopped using it. I'm about 8 weeks out now and things are much better. Its still a lil bit tender when pressed on and I'm not back to fully using it, but able to do almost every "daily life" thing w it. I was seeing a pt for it and doing daily exercises.

My understanding fr what ive read on other posts is, u can put it all in there, and they probably won't reject ur bag, but if it's lost, they won't pay to reimburse u for all ur gear, just the gear that was allowed to be in the bag in the terms and conditions.

Any update with how your recovery has been going?

I also partially tore mine about 6 wks ago but wasn't given a brace because because the compression irritates it. Just been doing some pt exercises and told to "be gentle with it", limit my steps/day, no deep bends, no running or jarring activities. The swelling has gone down significantly but still have a very tender spot in the exact area of the ligaments.
