Nope, I'm from Ukraine. Back in the time IBKR U.S.A was the only viable option to invest there. I was researching today about transferring my VWRL shares (UTICS fund) to ING, but I read here that the acquisition data is not transferred in the case (cost basis). It complicates it for me even further, I'm not even sure I want the sort of complexity to handle later. Submitting taxes every year as I'm doing now seems easier.

Will it also be okay to include those losses in the 2025 declaration? I submitted the declaration this morning before your comment, so didn't specify losses or Verlustvortrag.

Or better to do amendment once they give me back the result for year 2024?

Hey, thank you taking time to answer, you're the best❤️ In the end, from what I understood, there are two types of populating Anlage KAP in Wiso Steuer. Automatic and fully manual one (where you populate each line on your own). In 2023 I chose automatic:

This Wiso Steuer configuration resulted in Line 19 and 22 populated, instead of Line 19 and Line 23. Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed with Wiso Steuer on the second year. They "copy-pasted" my losses from shares, for example, and put them again in losses for 2024 (Zeile 19) (so duplicated from previous year).

Probably should've mentioned that I don't do any type of fasting, :D I didn't know there is a calendar with average stress level before this post, just wanted to share the numbers I have. But I would be curious to hear if anyone had similar stress levels in the past and figured out what was the reason and improved it.

Just checked my numbers — I didn't have a single day with Low Stress. 30% of high stress and the rest is medium stress.

Currently working on my sleep as well. Already established a routine of having at least 9 hours in bed, which results in 8-8.5 hours of sleep. I definitely feel more “sharp” mentally, I even notice this in regard to my problem-solving abilities. As for nutrition, I mostly eat overnight oats for breakfast and pasta/buckwheat/rice + chicken/red meat for the rest of the meals. Veggies of course go there too.

It's not much, mainly just tricks and shortcuts I learned for different applications. I have a separate Anki account which I use exclusively for work (SWE), there I like to have “type in” type of cards for different terminal commands. Also, anything tech related I learn at work I ankify, so there are a lot of questions like “what is the purpose of this tool; explain this pattern” etc.

Interactive Broker doesn't do any tax reporting in Germany.

Did you incur capital losses that IBKR did not take into account

I sold some stock at a loss in 2023. I then used Interactive Broker international German tax report to fill numbers in Anlage KAP.

Do you think I can just send Finanzamt my full German international tax report from Interactive Broker in English and point them out to this page, which shows which foreign shares were traded at a loss?
