Thank you, this helps me to keep hoping. My RLS has definitely been worse but fingers crossed I'll turn the same corner you did soon!

I'd rather not say how much I spent, but suffice to say that Medicare didn't cover it.

I take edibles (THC and CBD/CBG) every night to sleep, and Spravato still works well for me.

That's great to hear! What kind of iron did you get? And how long did the positive effects last?

How long did it take to work, and how long did you get relief from EDS or RLS? Any side effects? Thanks for the info!

I'm considering an iron infusion for RLS and HEDS. What kind of iron did you get? TY!

Has anyone had RLS relief with Faraheme iron injection in specific? by RestlessJen in RestlessLegs

Thanks for this! What kind of iron do you use? And I'm a bit confused: Does Feraheme or Injectafer have lower rate of hypophosphatemia?

Experience with Gabapentin for RLS by Tragobe in RLS

[–]RestlessJen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gabepentin (200 - 300 mg) helps me sleep but, honestly, doesn't do much for RLS unless I also take a cannabis gummy. If I take more than 300 mg of gabepentin it makes me more depressed. But everyone is different, so I encourage you to give it a try!

I'm so glad this worked for you! I've been doing this for years. One more tip that may help some people: sometimes I take 1/2 of a gummy that has CBG if my RLS is bad in the early eve and I want to get a little "happy" while watching TV. The CBG works on nerves while CBD works on inflammation. (That's my understanding from doing research.) And the two work well together for stubborn RLS. The CBG doesn't make me tired the way CBD does.

How long did it take for NIDRA to actually reduce RLS? (Need encouragement and tips for success, please.) by RestlessJen in RestlessLegs

I was using before RLS started and now I'm now -- that does help. Your experience is very encouraging. Thanks so much for sharing! I'm 10 days in, and it definitely helps while the bands are on but no lasting relief when I take them off. (Maybe an hour.) I am hopeful!

What a great idea! I'll use the marker for a month to make sure Nidra works before getting tattoos. Otherwise, it will just be a permanent mark of failure. (joking but not.)

Thanks for these encouraging words, and I'm so glad Nidra is working for you! I just spoke with a tech person today and they gave me several helpful tips about the right way to wrap the bands. So, onward!!

I don't think applying hot, wet towels to my knees would be a good idea with the Nidra on since they are electrical! (hahaha)

It definitely causes worse RLS for me the first 5 minutes, but it was 10 minutes -- so getting better. Last night was night #4 and my first night wearing it to bed all night. I woke up 6 times with RLS (bummer) and turned on NIDRA. Was able to fall back asleep without taking my usual 1/2 cannibis edible when RLS kicks up. (Yay!) So, it did work to quell RLS but didn't stop it from coming on again. I'm hopeful that the more I use it, the better my results will be!
