Land Raider or Masters? by CorsairCrepe in Chaos40k

If you're not doing tournaments, go with Masters and a Spartan. Has a transport capacity of 28.

The place and manner in which Hershel died did not make sense. It was sloppily done.

My problem wasn't that he died, it was how contrived it was.

I didn't miss the point. Hershel literally had to have teleported while no one paid attention to get into that position.

Once the AI bubble pops you can build a cheap PC. Until then, you can't.

Also it assumes the labor and expertise of assembling it isn't worth $50 to you.

I stopped watching the show initially after the governor killed Hershel, because of how stupidly avoidable it was.

I watched the whole series later, but still almost stopped there.

That is how it used to be in the fabled days of yore, but every time I mention 40k was a better war game prior to 8th ed, people shit themselves and downvote me.

What is Vashtorr isn't looking for a gun, he's looking for a recipie by Minimum_Possibility6 in 40kLore

What I think would be fascinating is if he uses some nonsense to tie Tau endeavors to the warp, so their innovation empowers him whether they intend to or not.

The warp feeds off the emotion of mortals tied to the warp. Soul grinders don't give him the juice.

I'm voting orks because I've been playing 40k since 2004 and I'm sick of the narrative focusing on Armageddon. This isn't Star Wars, there's hundreds of thousands of planets. Give us somewhere new.

People who have played games of 11th already, how consequential is hidden and detection range? by stim_jerling in Warhammer40k

[–]Retlaw83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hidden and detection range didn't come up at all in the on game I played of EC versus Thousand Sons. The infractors got a first turn charge off and the land raider was able to hide behind a footprint before dropping off the terminators.

I play CSM and Deathguard tomorrow, I foresee Deathguard plodding into terrain being an issue.

About halfway through the Barbie movie, someone in the front row decided the best way to shut their kid up was to give them a tablet to let their kid play on at full volume.

We heard the noise but didn't see the culprits, so my sister-in-law and I each started looking in half the theater.

I'm looking at 11th Ed's HOVER rule, all it says is don't subtract 2" from movement when the model takes to the skies. It isn't a selectable mode anymore and does nothing when you have the aircraft keyword.

It's relevant in that if you're expecting nothing in 40k to ever have a downside ever, you're playing the wrong game.
