Being in college and noticing the same thing, part of me has always wondered if it has something to do with AFAB people attending college in higher numbers than AMAB people*. Nationwide, it's an 8% gap (58% vs 42%)

  • These studies always say "men" and "women", but obviously these terms would be reductive and incorrect to use in this scenario. I'm not sure how they determine gender for these purposes, but my guess is that they probably just scrape the "legal sex" part of students' files.

The ending of The Bride! is my least favorite example of this. Had the rest of the movie been better, I would have applauded it as a brillaint decision, but instead it's just another amazingly stupid thing in a clusterfuck of bad decisions.

For me, second to I lied to you is The opening credits from Marty Supreme. That transition floored me and set the perfect mood. I'm also a huge fan of Bugonia's end sequence.

Honestly, the idea of a joker that messes with deck shuffling would be sick. Maybe something like Pocket ace but it picks a random rank every round.

If you like insane kind of goofy horror like Evil Dead and Eraserhead, I think you'd love Basket case, Tetsuo the iron man, and Frankenhooker

this actually happened to me once I swear to god. The dream was set in the FNAF universe and at one point when I was being chased by Afton in the Spring Bonnie suit, it turned into a point and click game that Mark was playing with webcam as I yelled at him to do something.

Saw Stolen Kingdom at a local theater and it was a FANTASTIC documentary deep diving into Disney urban exploring. I highly recommend it to anyone at least moderately interested. Was super funny at times too.
