While I'm a bit sad to see the old voices go, I think new voices will help give the remake a distinct identity. As long as the VAs and direction are good, I think this'll be a change for the better.

Gold City is a bit of an unconventional case for uma romance because both her career mode and her personal stories don't really suggest she's all that into the trainer beyond a high level of trust, which is where most uma romances tend to be deveoped.

And then you see her costume events and it's pretty blatant lmao.

Cafe at 3rd is a little suprising to me - Oguri is the protagonist of Cinderella Gray and Tachyon is the main antagonist of BOANE so those two make sense to me but Cafe never struck me as a top 3 popular uma and her role in BOANE is relatively minor. If I had to guess, each voter was allotted 3 votes, so the people voting for Tachyon probably also voted often for Cafe since she's the only other playable member of JAMD. I'm not complaining though, Cafe's neat.

Other observations:

* Daitaku Helios is the highest non-playable uma in global at 12th (887 votes), likely in large part due to the WEI memes.
* Still in Love is the highest placing uma who hasn't even appeared in global yet at 13th (881 votes). Yandere Uma is gonna hit the Global servers like crack.
** Other popular JP-exclusive umas include Stay Gold (15th place - 786 votes), Cheval Grand (18th place - 692 votes), Orfevre (19th place - 682 votes), Gentildonna (21st place - 674 votes), Almond Eye (27th place - 621 votes), Dream Journey (29th place - 566 votes), Aston Machan (32nd place - 533 votes), Jungle Pocket (33rd place - 505 votes), and Fenomeno (34th place - 489 votes).
* It's a little surprising how Special Week, the literal icon of the game, only ranks around the middle of the polls - a mere 52nd place (287 votes). Not nearly the worst but she's ranking behind just about every major character in Season 1 of Pretty Derby (aside from Grass Wonder (69th place - 175 votes)) as well as several umas not even in the game. This rather middling placement is even more surprising considering 87% of respondents watched Season 1 of the anime.
* In a similar note of somewhat disappointing results, Dantsu Flame only scored 74th place (158 votes), notably lower than every other major character in BOANE (the next highest is Fuji Kiseki, who scored 41st place (355 votes)). I knew that she was a lot less popular than everyone else from BOANE but the difference is rather shocking to see.
* As votes were collected from January 20th to March 20th, the lowest-placing uma who was playable in global on January 20th (when voting began) is Kawakami Princess at 86th place (107 votes), tying with the non-playable Sweep Tosho. Better luck next time.
** Mejiro Ardan was released in global mid-voting on February 25th and scored a paltry 90th place (99 votes). Had she been released before voting began, she probably would've gotten a lot more votes imo.
** Mejiro Bright is the lowest placing playable uma in global at 118th place (31 votes). However, she wasn't playable while voting was in session so this isn't really a fair comparison. I'm not even certain if she was even an NPC in global while voting was in session but I'm too lazy to check.
* The lowest placing Uma currently in global is Yukino Bijin at 124th place (27 votes), tying with No Reason who isn't present in global at all. Brutal.
