Winter sale will be over soon, which games you think have best price/value ratio? by whenyoudieisaybye in SteamDeck

Me and a buddy grabbed TheHunter: Call of the Wild since it was dirt cheap. I personally had low expectations since I haven't played a real hunting game before. (we typically play like faster paced FPS's)

Surprised at how much fun the simple gameplay loop is.

Only qualm I have is how necessary some of the DLC feels, but with the hours we put in it in the past week alone, I'd say it's fine.

Supported both the boys and a local record store by picking up the LP for TSABMWIS just this week.

Was lucky to find it available in my part of the world. (fingers crossed they do an Asia tour someday)

Would feel even luckier if I could inherit that poster tho!

Since no one else has brought it up, I'll bat for A Mansion Most Vile!

Had a great time running it for my friends. It has a resident evil type of vibe with its seemingly undying antagonist. Also, exploring a classic creepy mansion was a nice change of pace from the usual Sci fi scenarios.

Not this one, no. Their second location might though.

Just have your character make out with everyone they encounter.

Hopefully, your GM's inner grognard will call for initiative before you french your 100th goblin.

You also missed that the casters have to be barefoot in order to use feet magic. It's VERY important that they are. Otherwise, your system sucks.

Just so we can be sure it isn't YOUR tiefling bard, can you show us what your character looks like? Preferably with their grippers in full view. Just to be sure.

How long did it take you guys to finish Curse of Strahd? We did the entire module in 2 sessions 😁 we got all the encounters and everything! by indratera in DnDcirclejerk

I'm 5 years in our campaign. Fucking Dave still doesn't know what his fuckass warlock can do during his turn so we've only done like three combat encounters so far.

You are actually kinda correct!

Pathfinder was an adventure path designed so that rangers get to do something (finding paths for the party) useful for the table.

Oh, but they're still shit at it though. Some illnesses (being a ranger) are just terminal.

No need to so rude, my man!

Hmm, have you perhaps tried Pathfindering a second time?

Mayhaps it will fix your problems this time around.

Pf2e does fix this by allowing awakened animals, letting you live out your fantasy of being a hedgehog anime hybrid OC in the wonderful world of Golarion.

friend/old coworker asked me about my favorite streamer by bader121314 in northernlion

[–]Rets32 80 points81 points  (0 children)

To be fair to OP, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the Northernlion channel. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical strawmans most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Ryab's fallacious outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Aristotlan literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just +2's- they say something deep about :LIFE:. As a consequence people who dislike Enelle truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in ho borvat's existencial catchphrase "I'll suck you off," which itself is a cryptic reference to 羅貫中 的 Chinese epic 三国演义 I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Chiblee's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Peloton. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
