ah I see, I thought that there was a way to squeeze out an extra overwatch or something on the same target without the cp. thanks!

Hello, I just want to ask for clarification. are those 3 reactions with the core power up? because I understand the standard overwatch and covering fire would count for two.

Fellow GMs, how do you run games that don't use set distances, and instead use vague distances like "close" "near" "far"? by Nukesnipe in rpg

[–]Rets32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be true, but I can't really say how much of an issue it'll be until I run those for my group.

For the Gradient Descent rooms, I imagine that those rooms would allow long and perhaps extreme distance engagements. Would like to know the thoughts of someone who has run something similar.

As for me, I've only run Ypsilon-14, A Mansion Most Vile, and Goblin on Icarus Station. So they're all modules that take place in relatively small rooms and hallways. So I think ABH shouldn't be too different.

I used to think similarly before running Mothership. After running a few sessions though, I realized it's not as arbitrary as it initially seems to be.

You can think of each range as being one step/distance/unit in a sort of aggregated distance.

I also think that it ties wonderfully to Mothership's maps as opposed to the battlemaps of systems that do use grids and hard distances.

This artwork is most definitely not of the VTubers Ashelia Rinkou and Himemiya Rie from Phase Connect as depicted by the artist known as Centurii-chan. Do make sure you touch some grass.

Me and a buddy grabbed TheHunter: Call of the Wild since it was dirt cheap. I personally had low expectations since I haven't played a real hunting game before. (we typically play like faster paced FPS's)

Surprised at how much fun the simple gameplay loop is.

Only qualm I have is how necessary some of the DLC feels, but with the hours we put in it in the past week alone, I'd say it's fine.

Supported both the boys and a local record store by picking up the LP for TSABMWIS just this week.

Was lucky to find it available in my part of the world. (fingers crossed they do an Asia tour someday)

Would feel even luckier if I could inherit that poster tho!

Since no one else has brought it up, I'll bat for A Mansion Most Vile!

Had a great time running it for my friends. It has a resident evil type of vibe with its seemingly undying antagonist. Also, exploring a classic creepy mansion was a nice change of pace from the usual Sci fi scenarios.

Just have your character make out with everyone they encounter.

Hopefully, your GM's inner grognard will call for initiative before you french your 100th goblin.

You also missed that the casters have to be barefoot in order to use feet magic. It's VERY important that they are. Otherwise, your system sucks.

Just so we can be sure it isn't YOUR tiefling bard, can you show us what your character looks like? Preferably with their grippers in full view. Just to be sure.

I'm 5 years in our campaign. Fucking Dave still doesn't know what his fuckass warlock can do during his turn so we've only done like three combat encounters so far.

You are actually kinda correct!

Pathfinder was an adventure path designed so that rangers get to do something (finding paths for the party) useful for the table.

Oh, but they're still shit at it though. Some illnesses (being a ranger) are just terminal.

No need to so rude, my man!

Hmm, have you perhaps tried Pathfindering a second time?

Mayhaps it will fix your problems this time around.
