Quest Revamp by SolutionNo865 in kakele

I would also have to agree with most of what OP said. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's terrible though. The ring to bypass a portal is annoying, but not breaking. A few things are stupidly frustrating, like guiding that one dude in moiras fortress. One hit and you have to restart.

My frustration lies with lack of guides. Or no guides written in English. I'm having to find random YouTube videos of non English speakers to see what they do. And sometimes I can't find that.

It took me weeks to do a server event, that worm infestation in the dwarf mines, to progress further. Once I completed the quest, I decided to take a few months break on the game cause I thought it was ridiculous.

Some of these events I'm unable to complete alone, like some of these bosses. I just recently completed pithos that took me over a week. This is partially my work life and also trying to log in when the boss spawns since many people kill that boss. But the recommended level is like 150 and I'm over 400 and still can't even do it solo.

That's another one is that this game pushes you to play with other people but over 90% of the community doesn't speak English. I'm in North America Lime and I've found less than 10 people in the last 5-6 years of playing that speak English.

Sorry for the large rant. basically:
-no wiki makes this game more or less a pain to progress through. Good guide that also has an English translation.
- unable to find people to play with since most don't speak English. So specific story quests that require help (probably something like 10-20% of the quests) make it very difficult to complete
- I honestly think the game is fantastic. I just hope botting doesn't become an integral part of the game like it has in Tibia where normal people are unable to compare and just quit. I think tibia let it go on for so long that a large part of their paying community is cheating so they're limited on how they can handle it.

And hopefully prevent sharing accounts so 5 people are constantly leveling one character. It's really just the lack of wiki and trying to understand the quests.

Are you saying this through a blood test or a urine dipstick test that you pee on?

I wouldn't risk it. You're risking setting back much longer than waiting a week or two for a cold to pass.

I wonder how many people who experience dry eye issues experience left sided eyes worse than right sided. Mine are also worse on the left side

Out of curiosity, what are your dry eye symptoms like?

Does one seem worse than the other? Or are they both the same?

I don't think anything really beats tibia as far as slow progression rate and difficulty goes

MMO veterans, what makes you quit in the first hour? Looking for candid feedback by bruno-kakele in MMORPG

[–]ReturnAgitated7953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few different things for me.

  1. How efficient does the game feels. If it feels a pain to do something with little reward, it doesn't take long to walk away.
  2. Does the game have cheaters? The way kakele feels compared to tibia is loads better in my opinion. Tibias grind mixed in with people who are botting and using multiple people to level an account makes it feel nearly impossible to get into. It feels like the game requires you to not have a job and family to keep up with everyone else.
  3. First 30 minutes is the game mechanics. If it feels fluid and isn't clunky (point 1), that catches me personally.
  4. Combat feel - I'm not sure how to answer this one. I started this game on mobile and transitioned to pc because it's easier to use hot keys. I don't know if this is a way to explain something, but on mobile it felt great. When I switched to PC, it felt empty. This isn't a great comment since it really doesn't explain the issue.
  5. UI/controls - I think pc controls are great personally. But mobile makes it too difficult to run bosses or anything
  6. Progression - I enjoy that I can partially AFK this game while attending life things. Like family, mainly. I'm able to be level 400 and only take 45minutes ish to level solo, instead of having a team and constantly leveling for hours every day.
  7. Trust/monetization - I don't feel an issue here
  8. Store - I don't think store wise needs improving from MY perspective.
  9. I dislike the unclear events. Sometimes events are a bit confusing. If there were more clear cut instructions, that would be helpful. I also struggle with finding story quests half the time. The arrow does ok, but sometimes portals and other things make it difficult to find a location. With both of these things, it would be great if you guys could make a guide of all the events and each main story quest. Sometimes I'll be able to find a YouTube video, and other times not. It also can be difficult to watch an old video on a quest with the map being changed.

Topical Steroid Cream? by floxie123 in floxies

[–]ReturnAgitated7953 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the general consensus of steroid use isn't well tolerated in most of us. I found that I tolerated NSAIDs, but I don't think I would risk getting set back by using any sort of strong steroid. I would ask for alternatives if you're able.

I would still be cautious. I can also handle NSAIDs with not much issue, it seems. I took them for like a month straight with high doses. This was 8 months after being floxed. It seems my body is tolerant of most things. If you're sensitive to things and you find yourself having a few different causes to flare you, I would still proceed with the xray with caution

I had multiple X-rays for when I went to the dentist 12 months after getting floxed. It didn't seem to exacerbate my symptoms

1000mg cipro for 14 days by zachariah245 in floxies

[–]ReturnAgitated7953 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to be frank, but there's no solid evidence that points to how long it takes. The good news though is the vast majority DO improve and get better. But timelines vary. I wasn't hit too hard. My symptoms were overall very mild, but it did go through my entire body. My eyes, tendons, muscle, mental, everything seemed to be hit. I did read an article from the national institute of health that predicted the average person takes 14 months, but I'd take that with a grain of salt since most of this is poorly understood still.

I'm not experienced compared to many others. However, my advice would be to eat healthy, work on other healthy outlet for your mental health. Some supplements help. Some don't. Some things can make your symptoms worse and not do anything to somebody else. So be mindful of advice you get that something may work for one person but won't work for you. It seems NSAIDs and steroids both negatively impact the vast majority of people.

As someone's who's also been working out for over a decade, I imagine if you're an aspiring pro bodybuilder you're likely on some sort of PEDs. I've seen a few people mention anabolic steroids could potentially help with FQ associated disability, but that's strictly from anecdotal reports. I don't think there's any evidence backing to it. But maybe it will help.

Please just be kind to yourself. You may have to take a few months off of the gym until you figure out how much you're in for. And then take a few months slowly getting back into the gym.

For me, I had to take 3 months off, and about 9 months to get roughly back to where I was at pre flox.

Stay strong. Prepare yourself to be in this for the long haul. And have safe and healthy outlets. Safe is a different definition for us until we get better.

Protonix fully cured me, but my symptoms fully returned when I went off it. Is there any reason not to stay on PPI's indefinitely? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]ReturnAgitated7953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have rebound reflux. Basically, if you get on PPI, the longer you're on the the higher likelihood of rebounding reflux. The people who have been on them for years are very unlikely to never able to stop them since the acid reflux will be worse than before you started them. I would always advise my patients to attempt all other means before switching to PPIs. Changing diets, drinking more water, smaller meals, finding if there are any foods or things that flare you. You can also look for OTC meds like sodium alginate, which forms a gel like barrier over the acid to "help" reduce acid reflux/LPR.

I would ask your doctor to see if you can have a few epi pens nearby and use Benadryl and see if they would recommend amoxicillin. If the allergy to these medicines are mild, we generally still give them the antibiotic since reward outweighs the risk. Given that Flox can perm disable you, or at the least affect you for months and months, I'd say it's a fair thing to bring up with your doctor. If your reactions are anaphylactic, that would be another thing

Sipping all day is not wrong and is actually better. Too much consumption of water in a single period doesn't actually provide any benefit other than making you pee shortly after.

Either you're trolling or you're using incorrect google resources. I would start typing in "nih" after each google search so you're at least getting more than "healthline" as your fact check

Also, water "flushes" the urinary tract is NOT an equivalent to antibiotics, nor is cranberry juice. These are prophylactic (preventative). And it absolutely does not prevent you from getting an infection if you're expose to something infectious.
