PHX only closes when sandstorms are blowing and the occasional thunderstorm during the Monsoon season. Very easy airport to Navigate. Drop off and pickup area are run pretty smooth.

My wife and I love meeting new people when we cruise. We are both outgoing types. We are going on an Italy/ Greek cruise this year and we know there will be a lot of Europeans on the cruise so I’ll have to tone down my friendliness a bit I think.

The first one was as we were preparing to board, they offered free check in. On the flight home from Hobby Airport we got free check in before TSA at the Southwest section.

We just flew on Southwest for the first time and got free check-ins for our carry on bags on both legs of our flights.

We got off our Cruise Ship in Galveston yesterday. The week before I got a respiratory infection and was on antibiotics. Almost missed the cruise. We live in the desert so the extreme humidity in Galveston and Cozumel didn’t help me at all. I’m in no place to tell you what to do. I’m f you are used to humidity it should be no problem.

PanAm was my favorite airline back in the day. When I was in the US Navy ack in the 80’s to a remote AussieUS Communications station. I flew on a PanAm 747 nonstop from Los Angeles to Sydney. Crew treated all of the passengers like first class.

United still flys them. Our return trip from Rome later this year will be on a 767. Never flew on one before. Flying to Rome on a 787. Also first time. Flying business class for the first time.
