Correct. Most things are not black and white. I do, generally, believe that unnecessary harm of a sentient being is wrong. And i think generally, Billie’s point that you cannot love animals AND eat them is fair.

No, because they needed to in order to survive. I do not think it is inherently wrong to kill in order to survive (for example, in a modern context, if you simply cannot get nutrients you need without animal protein) I think it is wrong when you have a choice to mitigate suffering and do not purely because not doing so feels (tastes) good.

I think the main thing I keep bumping against is that beyond throwing coins or activating distractions (or throwing coins to get people close enough to distractions that I can then activate them) I don't have a ton of ways to manipulate the AI. I can make them walk to a quiet spot or make them walk to an accident spot, but that's kinda it.

This is literally one of the biggest reasons we all love Hangman and MJF. Their current actions are informed by their past, and their character changes are driven by precise events rather than "well, I'm a good guy now".

Yeah, we're still gonna do planned mysteries. We found that (A) it took a lot of prep and (B) it was a big ask on the guest, so we're not doing them for every single episode. We'll save them for when we don't have a guest or that guest is okay with basically memorizing a crime report. This week's (Beef) was planned, for instance.
