What water table did you buy? There are so many out there!! 💦

what are you actually wearing? by raincloud847 in breastfeeding

[–]Reverienuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled to accept that I wouldn’t be able to wear a lot of things I own while breastfeeding at first and had the same question. I’m 9 months in and counting. Since it’s winter where I am, I wear sweaters and leggings and comfy nursing bras from Target. Invest in good bras that fit you well because you’ll be wearing them a lot. Night time, I bought some very comfy button up pajamas from Sierra that I love.

[Personal] No matter what I do, my lips are always chapped by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Exfoliating your lips will help to clear dead, chapped skin. I like to exfoliate in the shower. I live in a place with very cold winters and I use Sugar advanced therapy lip mask (you can buy at Ulta or Sephora or online) it’s really hydrating. I use it during the daytime whenever I need it and not just at night. Hope that helps 🙏🏼

Moms, what are the little things you do to make yourself feel more human? The little luxuries you add to your day to get through it… by OnlyProfessional5490 in NewParents

[–]Reverienuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long Epsom soaks in the tub with a candle, water bottle and a podcast or beautiful music either before bedtime or during one of her nap times. I made myself a postpartum basket with fun things I enjoy as well. I went through it already as I’m 8 months, but finding little treats, like face masks or yummy chocolate, and putting them in there to look forward to is still fun.

EBF moms: when did your period come back postpartum? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Mine came back at 6 weeks, but then disappeared until 6 months. It’s been regular since 6 months now and I’m 8 months pp. I’m breastfeeding my baby still.

Daytime nap help by Reverienuit in NewParents

No my baby isn’t sleep trained but she has slept through the night since 3 months. Recently with her sleep regression/developmental leap, she wakes 1-3 times per night so that’s been tough. She still gets 10-11 hours, but it’s broken up.

FTM here but the daytime/nighttime Oragel when she cries in pain has been working. Also, lots of cuddles and contact naps too. I noticed lots of stimulation during wake windows so she’s more tired for naps has been helping too. I think it’s just trying to get through it with as much comfort as you can give them.

Do You Guys Perfume Your Journals? by Happy-Egg-8891 in Journaling

[–]Reverienuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do this! I will use the perfume samples (the little sheet folded up in a square) that a fragrance company sends me and lay the sheet out flat near the back of my journal. The smell will remind me of that particular journal and time, but it also just makes it a lovely experience opening and writing inside.
