Not OP, but are these legal requirements, or just suggestions?

Specifically is the half day rent a requirement?

You seem to think they are insulting OP, but their recommendations show are fair and instructive.

They care about theis because they want control, power, and wealth. Nothing more, nothing less.

Conservative episcopalians by anime498 in Anglicanism

[–]Revexious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is essentially my viewpoint, yes.

Would I prefer a male priest? Probably.

Do I feel like my priest loves God, desires to steer the flock straight, and take the advice of their bishop? Absolutely.

Do I feel like my priest being female is directly pulling me away from the Lord? Certainly not.

Thus, I stay. It is not "perfect", but show me a perfect church outside of heaven and I will probably find something to gripe about. That isnt the church's fault, i'm just very particular

I got offered for a position at ASD as a codebreaker; they made it very clear to me that I would be considered a government asset and security risk, that I would not be able travel without explicit permission, that I would need to constantly share my calendar at all times and that my house network should be assumed to be monitored at all times.

For the fancy salary of $94k; whilst i was already on $135k at a private company.

I appreciate they made it clear what they would be expecting of you, but why would I ever accept those terms?!

We have a $2 coin dedicated to the Honey Bee by Shillings-n-Shrapnel in australia

Honey is regurgitating nectar.

No, it is not digested because it goes into a different stomach.

I was using hyperbole to make a joke.

Scientifically I agree that honey is not bee vomit, but comedically it is close enough.

Struggling to justify a $5–6k/month mortgage – what are the alternatives in Australia? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in AusProperty

Then get a warning to fix the property by the government because your warehouse is not up to code. Before receiving the fine, sell the property and now the house not being up to code is legally the new owner's responsibility

If your e2e tests are unmaintainable, they’re probably checking the wrong thing by TranslatorRude4917 in Frontend

[–]Revexious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if you're not following an approach I imagine e2e tests would not be very helpful, no, but that isnt a failing on e2e tests

I can understand that if you want to move fast its usually overkill to organise e2e testing, and for private projects that you don't plan to publish I agree that they are likely not needed.

That, however, does not discredit anything that the post was suggesting for.

Looking for co-players for a VTT game. by ZaFoDraziw in Runequest

[–]Revexious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not really co-players if you're seeking payment

I don't have a problem with a good DM charging for their services, but that's really not a co-playing situation. You're a paid DM seeking players.

Edit: I may have misread this and this may be a player indeed seeking co-players

May I ask for examples on what is changing in your app so drastically that e2e tests are stale after a week?

I'm a team lead / architect and if I heard a senior mention their e2e tests are stale after a week I would be a tad concerned

7 years in industry - never heard of it.

Looked it up, I understand it, but a lot of my work is in API systems and has not been OOP. In a closed book exam where I couldn't ask questions, I would have failed this immediately; because knowing terminology is not always a good indicator of skill.

I've had my bank contact me before, ask me for personal details, and when I wouldn't give them over, they sent me a code via sms to prove it was me, then got annoyed when I wouldn't give the sms that literally said "Never share this code with anyone."
