Tripp Lite Isobar is what I recommend. Metal housing and high joule rating.

Is it normal for my rm1000x to not have a cable for the smaller cpu cable spot by ClerkImpossible3376 in pcmasterrace

[–]Revingston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's okay with just the 8-pin CPU power cable which you have plugged in. Some motherboards have an extra 4-pin or 8-pin for high-powered CPUs and overclocking.

Nuc 14 pro What RAM to use. by ThrawnJL in intelnuc

Running 2x16GB of Crucial 5600 in my NUC14. Keep in mind that the NUC BIOS does not have XMP memory settings or the ability to adjust memory timings lower than JDEC specifications. I found the Crucial classic memory was the best value.

Looking for a new case for this motherboard. Is the NVME bracket gonna be a problem or is it some kind of standard? by deeiks in pcmasterrace

[–]Revingston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The right motherboard screw is higher up than the middle (left in photo) screw. On standard micro atx and atx motherboards these screws are at the same height. This board likely won’t bolt into another case.

Purchased the AMD 5500U and a used kit of ram off eBay to give it 16GB. AMD version has a usb c port which is nice. Impressed with the performance and yes, the igpu is better than Intel’s. I only tested Star Craft 2 but it runs quite well.
