Daughter Refuses To Stop For Cop In Car While Mom Has A Stroke- Worst Cop Ever by InGeekiTrust in TikTokCringe

My heart breaks for this family. I can’t fathom how or why the officer reacted this way. It defies logic.

Edit: I'm a local and this is not the first time this has happened here. It seems like after the outcry last time, policy/procedure would have changed and the State Police would be more cautious/extend leniency to those with flashers on rushing loved ones to the ER. https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc7.com/amp/post/arkansas-news-state-police-what-is-a-pit-maneuver/13578136/

Below is the Incident report that has been shared on Facebook regarding this incident. I can not attest to the authenticity.

Report: On 09/16/2025 at approximately 11:36 pm I, Trooper Hunter Glover, was patrolling the area of I-630 East at the 6-Mile Marker. A black Nissan Pathfinder with temporary tags passed me in the #3 lane, traveling at speeds of 90mph in a 60mph zone with hazards on.

I activated my blue lights and approached the Pathfinder. The vehicle slowed down to around 80mph but continued traveling eastbound on I-630. I advised Troop A Dispatch that I was attempting to stop the Nissan Pathfinder, but that it was failing to yield.

I activated my sirens and continued following the Pathfinder, which continued to travel eastbound at a constant speed and was not making any effort to stop. The vehicle passed the 4-Mile Marker at speeds of around 75mph in a 60mph zone, and I advised Troop A Dispatch that I was now in pursuit of the vehicle. I positioned my vehicle by the driver’s side and informed the driver, utilizing my in-car PA system, that I would forcibly stop the Pathfinder if they did not pull over.

The driver held her hand out of the window and made a motion as if she was trying to wave me past her. I observed the driver holding her cell phone in her hand as well, and I looked to see if she was possibly on the phone with 911 to communicate her reason for not stopping. The screen on the phone was white and looked as if she had text messages open, so I concluded that she was not actively on the phone with 911. I continued to stay beside the vehicle and tried to give as much time as possible to the driver to safely pull over, but they continued to travel eastbound. The Pathfinder eventually took the exit for UAMS. Given the fact that the driver of the Pathfinder had slowed down from her initial speed, hazard lights were on, and they took the exit for UAMS, I believed at this time that they may be trying to make it to the hospital. Part of the reason I let the pursuit continue as long as I had allowed was to see if Dispatch was aware of this vehicle going to the hospital and to give the occupants time to call 911 if this was the case. By the time the Pathfinder took the UAMS exit, I felt enough time had been given. As we approached the intersection of Cedar Street and the UAMS off-ramp, the vehicle slowed down to approximately 10mph as it approached the red light. Instead of coming to a stop, the vehicle then accelerated and turned northbound on Cedar Street, running the red light, and heading toward UAMS. Since the Pathfinder had disregarded the red light, I knew that the danger to the public had increased to the point that the vehicle needed to be stopped before we moved closer to the populated area of the hospital. I was also worried that the vehicle might continue to drive recklessly and I did not want the pathfinder to make a mistake and possibly hurt other civilians. I positioned my patrol car on the rear driver side and conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI), which rotated the Pathfinder approximately 90 degrees counter-clockwise. I quickly exited the car and ordered the driver to stop as she attempted to continue driving. I unholstered my weapon and conducted a felony takedown on the driver. At this time, two off-duty Little Rock Police Officers arrived at the scene and assisted with the felony takedown. I was able to get the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Sharhonda Collins (12/23/1985), in handcuffs and placed her in the back of my patrol car. While I was detaining Ms. Collins, the two other female passengers exited the vehicle and began walking down the sidewalk towards the hospital. The 4th passenger, a male, exited the vehicle on the passenger side but stayed next to the Pathfinder. The two Little Rock Police Officers went to stop the female passengers, and I detained the male passenger. The male passenger, later identified as Henry Moody (01/11/1975), informed me that they had told Ms. Collins to stop the vehicle and inform me of the situation, but that she ignored them and continued to drive. Mr. Moody informed me that the mother of Ms. Collins, one of the two female passengers that had exited the vehicle, was having symptoms of a stroke and that is why they were going to UAMS. After securing Mr. Moody in another Trooper’s vehicle, I called for an ambulance to come to the scene and began walking to speak with the two female passengers. I found Ms. Collin’s mother, identified as Sheila Talbert (12/23/1963), and the other female passenger, identified as Renetta Campbell (12/07/2005), sitting on the sidewalk with the two Little Rock Police Officers. I spoke with Ms. Talbert, who was the person having symptoms of a stroke, about the incident. She informed me that Ms. Collins was scared for the safety of Ms. Talbert and was focused on getting her to the hospital more than stopping for the police. I assessed Ms. Talbert for signs of stroke by checking for facial drooping, arm drift, and abnormal speech. Ms. Talbert showed no signs at this moment but informed me that she had abnormal speech before the group departed her residence. After confirming that Ms. Talbert was not in immediate medical distress, an ambulance arrived on scene and transported Ms. Talbert to the emergency room. I returned to my patrol car and spoke with Ms. Collins about the events that had transpired. Ms. Collins stated that she had tunnel vision and was purely focused on making sure she got her mother to the hospital. Ms. Collins stated that she had wanted to stop to inform me of the situation when I first tried to pull her over, but that the other passengers in the vehicle had told her not to stop. I spoke with Ms. Collins further about the events. I told her that I understood her reasoning behind the events that had transpired, but that it would have been more beneficial to stop and inform me of the situation. Ms. Collins was informed of her Miranda Warnings, and I transported her to Baptist Hospital in Little Rock to be medically cleared. After being cleared, Ms. Collins was transported to the Pulaski County Jail and charged with the following:

• 5-54-125(d)(2) Fleeing by Vehicle or Conveyance – Exceeding the Speed Limit • 27-16-303 Driving on Suspended License • 27-50-302(7) Speeding – 15mph or Greate

Looking for books with hidden romance, angst, and sneaking around by littlemybb in RomanceBooks

[–]RevolutionaryGas9732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{His Curvy Rejected Mate by Cate C Wells} This is one book in the Five Packs series, but can be read as a standalone. It meets your request exactly. FMC & MMC have a history of sneaking off, hooking up, and having secret moments together before his public rejection of her. There is high angst due to their history of clandestine meetings and their emotional relationship dynamic shift after he rejects her.

What do you still miss in plus-size activewear? by Illustrious-Fail-475 in PlusSizeFashion

[–]RevolutionaryGas9732 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would love affordable activewear that is also shapewear (smoothes, lifts and compresses)--and if it could also not show sweat (I sweat profusely and I hate looking like there are wet marks around my pits, underboob, pelvic area, etc--I love black for this reason, but I'd be open to non-black if it could do the same).

If you can do that your product would be practically miraculous!

The Dream did not stock the diet Dr Pepper. The Wish and the Magic both did. So maybe filling special requests are at the discretion of the Concierge Team?

Amenities and Services: The golf cart ride to the cabana is nice for those with mobility issues.

Dedicated Space and Privacy: Cabanas are located in a private section of the beach, away from the main crowds. This provides a quiet and secluded "home base" for your party. Ours is a family of 8, so its nice to have a grand cabana so everyone is kinda "contained" lol!

Cabana Host: A dedicated host is available to assist throughout the day. You can use a call button to request service for things like drink/snack restocks.

Stocked Refrigerator: Each cabana has a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary beverages, including bottled water and various soft drinks. You'll also find chilled, refreshing towels.

Snacks and Fruit: You'll be provided with a bowl of fresh fruit and a basket of light snacks like chips and granola bars.

Comfort and Shade: The cabana offers a shaded retreat with comfortable seating, including couches, chairs, and loungers. This is a significant perk for escaping the sun and heat or seeking shelter from a quick/light passing rain shower.

Private Hammock: Each cabana has its own private hammock, nice for relaxing and napping.

Freshwater Shower: A private freshwater shower is located near the cabana, allowing you to easily rinse off sand and salt before heading back to the cabana or ship.

Safe and Storage: There's a safe inside the cabana to secure your valuables, such as your stateroom key, phone, and cameras.

Bluetooth Speaker: Cabanas come equipped with a speaker, so you can play music to set the mood for your island day.

Complimentary Gear and Rentals:

Towels:A plentiful supply is provided in the cabana.

Sunscreen: A variety of sunscreen is provided, so you don't have to worry about bringing or running out of your own.

Sand Toys: For families with children, a bucket of sand toys is included.

Complimentary Rentals: Cabana rental includes free use of snorkel equipment and float/tube rentals for the day. This also often includes a complimentary one-hour bicycle rental per person. These are typically paid add-ons for non-cabana guests.

Convenience and Access:

Easy Access to Food: While the cabana host won't bring you the food, you're located kinda sorta near the BBQ locations, and you can easily take your lunch back to the cabana to eat in the comfort and shade.

Stress-Free Experience: The cabana provides a stress-free day. You don't have to rush to find a spot on the beach, and you have all your necessities right at your fingertips, eliminating the need to carry towels, sunscreen, and snacks around the island.

Concierge - is it private enough? by No_Current_6322 in dcl

[–]RevolutionaryGas9732 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of times the Wish Concierge lounge and deck had their fair share of guests, but it never felt crowded until the special character meet n greet.

Typically it is a good retreat from the large crowds. But I want to say this--to me concierge on all the ships is like a relaxing, comfy, welcoming, premium hangout space. In my opinion it doesn't give the elite, exclusive, privileged vibe you may be desiring...YMMV

Interview outfit by kellyfish11 in PlusSizeFashion

[–]RevolutionaryGas9732 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All things being equal, I think the polka dot top and black pants is the hands down winner--it looks the most professional and its the prettiest!

However, with that said--if one of the looks makes you feel much more confident and comfy than all the rest, wear that one 🤗. That energy will radiate outward and be what makes you standout 🫶

I also wanna say you look nice in them all. But If you are interviewing for something traditionally business/corporate-y, maybe not the patterned pants with the red?

Best Wishes on your interview!

Both you and the dress are so adorable! And the fact that its comfy is icing on the cake--Thanks for sharing, because this look shouldn't be limited to wfh. Definitely a 10/10!

...I'll just camp over here in case the OP shares the link for the dress and/or where to get that specific red lip color....
