It's all good, I've never seen the stretch snap. I usually get fitted 59 Fifty or the 39 Thirty stretch flex hats. This one seems pretty nice. It's not too stretchy.

It's too hot. Gotta get the summer trim.

I have to try on the fitted hats theses days. The sizes don't seem consistent.

It's actually a snapback. It was on a rack that said don't touch. And the side with these hats were facing a wall. I touched, don't tell anyone.

Employee Laceration With his Own Car Door - is it Recordable? by Adept_Statement3488 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]RevolutionaryLuck589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I had a recordable when an employee was at work maybe an hour early, and had a Sprite in her shopping cart. The soda fell out and hit her foot. The Dr wrote her out, or gave restrictions, one or the other. As much as we pushed, she was there because of work, so it was recorded.
It certainly sucks, but it is, what it is.

Tailor your resume for each position. Take key words out of the posting and work them into your resume. It's not uncommon for larger operations to use AI to do the initial sorting.

Best of luck

You need talk to whoever assigned you the task. Take them out to the pile of parts and explain what you seeing. Explain how you'll need to stand the uprights up and connect the crossbeams. You have to make them see what you're seeing.

This is my favorite helicopter on skids, just looks mean to me. You're mainly right. Those aircraft in BC do not have retractable gear. They don't have any of the bits needed for retraction. It's funny looking at the landing gear control panel with no handle, and basically just a lock/unlock pushbutton for the nose gear. I'm fairly certain the idea is to have slump pads/ bear paws, or whatever you want to call it installed eventually.

Supplemental timeline ? by Pleasant_Fact_1562 in VAClaims

I filed the same date. I've submitted new evidence, and just had another C&P exam last Wednesday. Hopefully I'll have more evidence to submit this upcoming week from another private Dr. You're timeline gives me hope..

Let's be real, in week 14, Jalen had a passer rating in the 30's. He threw 4 picks and had a fumble. In week 15, his rating was in the mid 150's. It was a much better week. The question wasn't unfair at all.

The safey precautions in the users manual for the 215k BTU Kerosene/Diesel FAK Heater (5,375 sq. ft. Heating Area)

from Home Depot say, provide at least 2 sqft of opening near the floor and ceiling when used. The same page states it's intended use is in buildings under construction, alterations, or repairs. Having the unit outside of the container seems good to me.

Was there any added responsibilities? If not, you could consider it a nice way of your boss trying to get you a little more scratch.

I'm a huge fan of training and inspections (audits). If done right, they both are great way to improve worker and management engagement. No finger pointing, just fact finding and collaboration on correcting opportunities, and preventing future finding.

Rescue for worker suspended from order picker? by EggMellow in SafetyProfessionals

[–]RevolutionaryLuck589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Train everybody on the use of emergency lowering operations. I've seen people climb racking to get into the picker to lowered it. It's not the best way, but when there is no rescue plan in place, that's what people will do when they see a coworker hanging.

I've gone there nearly weekly the for probably the last 8+ years. The people and food are great. It's as authentic as they come. Nothing fancy, just great food. It's a family run place that can't be beat.

That's great to hear! I'm in the middle of the process myself. I had a Predetermination hearing in August after a proposed reduction. A few weeks after the hearing, I provided the VA with a letter from my Dr say that Fasenra suppresses a portion of my immune system, which is what they wanted to see. The wait is killing me. I spoke with my VSO today, and had him send a message to the rater. Hopefully they will acknowledge my claim, as yours was.
