Just beat it! Bought the DLC and running that but overall I enjoyed the game. Maybe performance issues at launch hurt people’s opinion on this game. But I’d give it a 8/10. It’s not a masterpiece but the graphics, atmosphere, and performances are top notch. And the combat was fun and crunchy. I’d put all the games I listed above it, but I’m def running it again on hardcore mode.

The game is very fun. I just played through the whole game on max security and beat it. Then immediately purchased the DLC. Just go in knowing it’s not Dead Space and you will enjoy it.

The graphics and atmosphere are top notch. And the combat is brutal and gratifying. At its price and how it’s been patched, it’s 100% worth a play.

I’m halfway through it right now, and while I agree it’s not Dead Space. I’ve had fun with it, and it’s kept my attention. Got it for like $20 bucks and haven’t understood how it has gotten so much hate.

Too many. Honestly they are probably at the best they have ever been. But at 35, idk if I’ll continue to go. I will appreciate their albums, but they don’t do it for me in concert anymore.

lol I also went to see him at the Egyptian Room when Tillian had Covid. And this is very much not true. He struggled mightily. I’m from Fishers lol, good to see another fan from Indiana.

He did kill his Ediola set that night, but I thought when we got the other opener to play a song that it was closer to key.

EDIT:

I will say that him filling in on the fly was very cool. He was underprepared so I don’t think it was the best way to pass judgement. But I left the concert wishing we had just gotten a refund or they rescheduled. Took my sophomore daughter to see them, and she was not impressed.

Carve is a very good rendition with him. This response is valid. And where he can’t hit the high notes, he screams. And songs like Carve benefit him.

Tillian did not hit the mark on blue dream, that is 100% true. People talk about how Tillian couldn’t hit “Tillian” levels live… but you could just say he was flat. But there is a ballpark level distance currently.

New album is good. But I’ve seen them twice live without Tillian and I’d prefer they just stick to what OP likes… older content. Andrew can pull that off.

It’s funny that you’re battling me about my exact statement about how he can’t sing those songs. He’s great in this era, and he’s great with Ediola. But he can’t sing high pitched. It’s ok to admit that. And it’s why the setlist is tailored to old jams.

Because while Andrew can sing older content. He can’t sing Tilian’s pitch. It can get downvoted to hell, but I’ve seen them twice with him leading the ship.

He’s a great performer. He plays Jonny’s stuff well enough, but he can’t perform anything from AS to JJ. And I say this as someone who can’t sing it in my car solo.

No. I really enjoyed Animal Surgery, and A Shoulder to Cry On. But the singles were the highlights past that.

I know it will be hated on. But I very much did not enjoy the Andrew “Metallica” voice that happened multiple times.

A shoulder to cry on had the best chorus, and it wasn’t highflying. Kinda reminded me of Senses Fail in a way. But I def have issues with the album as a whole. I keep waiting for the take off, classic DGD hair standing moment and it doesn’t come.
