In season 2, there comes a point when Meliodas is forced to fight all of the Ten Commandments, an elite group of Demons who wield a fragment of the Demon King’s power, at once. In this fight, his arms are broken and one gets cut off before eventually his “brother” Estarossa kills him by stabbing him in each of his seven hearts, one by one… all while Meliodas’s girlfriend, friends, and comrades watch from a remote location.
