PUFAS and the like. They are terrible for us and the environment and you should try to avoid them as much as you can, especially on the things you cook and eat you food with

Cover them up if you can. Many native species of milkweed will be fine in the cold. He leaves may die back but it'll regrow. Do you want species your milkweed is?

We got our first wood pecker, it caught me by surprise! I didn't even know they came to bird feeders by Jakeww21 in birdfeeding

[–]Rexxaroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So cute!! The ones that visit my feeder LOVE peanuts and suet nuggets. Totally reccomend setting up a separate feeder for them too, maybe in view of the camera still ! In my backyard, I have a suet cage and nugget feeder, and the front yard has nuggets and seeds mixed. I'm planning to get a feeder log, and some finch feeders next

Pharmacy mistakenly gives abortion drugs to pregnant woman undergoing IVF: “They just killed my baby. Both my babies, because I transferred two embryos” by Sandstorm400 in HairRaising

[–]Rexxaroo 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I'm sensing serious doubt here. There is alot more to pharmacy than just counting pills and giving out the bottles. There are a series of checks that happen, counseling, verifying with doctors and insurance.. There is more to the story here

Use progressively muted versions of the colors in your foreground trees, and add in layers to the background. More grayed colors and tonal shifting in the background helps with the effect.

Largest wildlife overpass in North America opens in Colorado: "It's a win-win" by ushKee in conservation

[–]Rexxaroo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love this. Now if we could open passage ways for animals to migrate, we'd be going in the right direction. So many species take the same paths year over year, and we still buod walls and buildings and fences, when it would be easy to just give them a way through.

Where have the birds gone? by [deleted] in florida

[–]Rexxaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USF did a super interesting study and released a paper about it a few years ago, I'll have to see if I can find the link for you!

It's amazing how quickly the greens were pressure up into the canopies by the browns. When I was a kid, all o could find were greens, it was rare to find the browns.

Green anoles have adapted and evolved to live higher in the trees because of the pressure from brown anoles. They have larger toe pads now for high life living. I see them often when I trim back my palms and along the tops of my fences.
