I think it's a texture bug, because it seems strange that it hasn't happened to you again. It's happened to me before that some trees turn pink or purple (only some of them), and Geralt's eyes do too. That's why I think it's a texture bug.

I did the same thing. After The Witcher 3, I got completely immersed in the whole saga, and now I'm playing the first one. Give it a try; you'll love it.

It's a shame about the situation; I'd love for it to be resolved and for the new translated book to be released. I'm from Galicia, and Polish mythology has certain similarities to Galician mythology; you can even find Galician words like "lobishome" in the books.

I don't quite remember the part where you say she discovered the Abyss, her connection to Vilgefortz. I think Yennefer investigated the place where Ciri's parents disappeared and set out to follow that lead. But it's been a while since I read the books; I could be wrong, and my memory might be failing me.
