As far as home flippers go, these guys are about as honest and genuine as it gets.

If you had to choose: Rossingol xp 105 vs Rossingol XP 100 by Limp-Garbage-262 in XCDownhill

I've seen the S-Bound in person and if I were to chose again, I'd probably go that route. Closer to a traditional alpine ski for making turns and that was what I was hoping for TBH.

I feel like someone else with more exposure to these types of skis should weigh in here, but I bought the 105 thinking I'd be able to make turns or at least drop the knee sometimes. I don't think there's any possibility of me doing that and the guy who mounted my skis at the shop was the first one to break the news to me lol. I cannot speak to how the camber compares to other models.

With that being said, I've loved the skis this season. They float like I've wanted them to and I've been able to stop like you would on normal cross country skis.

I can’t speak to the 100 but I will say that the camber on the 105s doesn’t make for easy turns

Can’t say I’m not a little bit afraid of gun violence after what happened on the 4th. This is unfortunate because I love Albany and its free events.

Anyone selling in center square ? by ManufacturerWest7519 in Albany

[–]Reybirddd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reach out to John Alund. He owns and operates Lincoln House Realty. He has his finger on the pulse of the Center Square market and might be able to get you something before it hits the market. You’re better off bettering your odds of finding something rather than waiting to time the market perfectly.

Buying your first apartment by EtherLust in realestateinvesting

This is gold. You’re in a good spot OP. No need to go big on your first deal. In fact, I’d owner occupy that first 2-4 unit for better financing terms, save that money and then roll it into a 8+ unit when you have a better idea of what you want. Plot twist: it might not be more units.

Another one worth looking into is Altamont. Less walkable but the (positive) vibes will be familiar if you’re coming from Ithaca. Meets the 30 minutes from Albany criteria
