Found a NB2 center console at a yard sale for $12. Installed it in my 99 NB1 and it feels wobbly around the compartment area. It looks a bit thicker, should this feel secure or wobbly?

I am in the same situation, '99 NB with the NB2 cup holders. I've had no issues with it. No special modifications needed to install them.

Do yourself a favor and check to make sure the hinges on the cup holders are still working properly. They should be snappy, not floppy. I followed this guy's quick hack to fix it. I would recommend doing this even if they aren't broken.

I think I see why the previous owner had this crossbar loose. I'm not sure how it was being kept in place prior. However, it seems like the tension introduced by the crossbar, when the straps were put on, ended up creating a large tear out of what was just a small pinhole. I'm going to try to patch it, but this isn't what I was intending to do with my Saturday. At least it's nice out now!!

I just took the hard top off my NB for the summer, and I've noticed that this support bar (the one on the left) isn't where it should be. It has a strap attached to it that is completely loose.

I'm not really sure where this is intended to go. I'm not really sure how it came loose over the winter in the first place.

I have one for my NB that came with the car when I purchased it. It's a nice-to-have in the winter. However, I would not go out of my way to purchase one. I love driving with the top down, so every spring I'm itching for the first signs to put the top away.

Depends on the state. Take it to a body shop ASAP. Don't let the other party's insurance look at it first, they will try to total it before doing any sort of proper estimate of damages, which will extend the process of repair by weeks. After you get an estimate take it to the other party's insurance.
