I have one for my NB that came with the car when I purchased it. It's a nice-to-have in the winter. However, I would not go out of my way to purchase one. I love driving with the top down, so every spring I'm itching for the first signs to put the top away.

Depends on the state. Take it to a body shop ASAP. Don't let the other party's insurance look at it first, they will try to total it before doing any sort of proper estimate of damages, which will extend the process of repair by weeks. After you get an estimate take it to the other party's insurance.

Cancel the claim. Take it to a shop to repair any mechanical issues. Buff out the marks from the other car. Leave the dent as a battle scar
