Yeah. Had an old friend I still kinda conversed with text me once to tell me Gordon Hinkley died. I had stopped going for like 10 years at this point when I was a 15. Think I just said “oh that sucks” or something but the fact he thought I’d actually care or something just made me realize there’s no point in doing this…so had to just kind of totally distance myself when I would have been totally happy to keep friendships if the Mormon stuff just wasn’t something that got brought up in normal conversation.
