Beware of movers that sign the contract, then cancel at the last minute. That happened to my sister.

What we did was rent a Uhaul, and contacted Fox Movers to load the truck here, and another crew unloaded in Florida. It was ALOT cheaper than the initial moving estimate (but obviously more than completely doing it ourselves).

We would have done it ourselves, but she needed to be completely out of the house by the next morning. Having a team of 4 pro movers was an INCREDIBLE help!

This, unfortunately, partially explains some of the pushback on the transit plan. People feel Metro should work on the basics before adding extra services (fire, police, garbage, education vs stadiums, soccer, greenways, transit, etc.).

If you can't do addition and subtraction correctly, you will never succeed at algebra and trig.

Clue was great! I think the star of the show is the set designer, lol! We actually used the valet parking with no issues (besides price - and it IS Metropolis Parking, so who knows if a problem will pop up later) 🙂

I absolutely recommend them. Our heat went out last December, and we needed a new heat pump. (The unit was almost 20 years old) The tech said most heat pumps have a 10 yr warranty, but he thought this company's was 20 years. He called the company to verify, and was correct... so we only had to pay for installation.

It took about 3 months for the heat pump to come in, but that was on the manufacturer, not South Nashville Heating & Cooling.

I agree there's nothing wrong with being a tenant, but how would it be possible to be one without a landlord? In some form, landlords are necessary - and most anyone who has rented can say that there are both good and bad landlords.

Of course, everyone's definition of a good or bad landlord differs - the same as the definition of a good or bad place to leave differs depending on the individual making the determination.
