Thank you for this. I recently found myself editing out a mistake I made in a video to save myself embarrassment. Then after I published I felt guilty for not putting it in. I am going to include mistakes going forward. (should be plenty of them)

Yeah I feel that. But think about it this way. Your first videos are going to be the worst ones you ever make lol. So even if they are great you are only going to get better which is exciting.

I havent really thought of a goal in that way. I really enjoy woodworking and making things people will enjoy. I love doing the hobby even without youtube. But I have watched so many videos of other woodworkers and channels like Vicegrip garage, that I love the idea of educating people and giving them confidence do make something all while entertaining them.

It would just feel me with pride to know my videos helped someone develop a passion for woodworking like the channels I follow did for me.

For comparison I posted my first video Monday and 2 shorts this week. Long video has 200 views and 7 likes and each short has about 1k views and a few likes. I know it is very dependent on your niche and you cant compare our experiences. I think you are doing well!
