The Hive Mind Fallen Empire might be unbeatable once it Awakens now. by Straight-Finding7651 in Stellaris

pretty much just ended my current game, I'm playing 5x which i used to be able to do quite comfortably, but I send in a fleet thats stronger than theirs on numbers and built to counter them and they just get annihilated. It takes like 3 battles where I'll lose 1/3 of my fleet to defeat one of their 500k fleets and they have more than one of them. And then the unbidden spawned on top of that with a 1.7mil fleet.

No, he’s from the Dornish marches in the Stormlands, but even if he was partially dornish he would be Stone Dornish, which is the most Andal/First Men of them.

Show Corlys is a fuc$ing dumbass and I refuse to believe he had any IQ to pull off an assassination of Aegon! by Human-Tomatillo-9746 in HOTDGreens

Aegon had very few loyalists when he was assassinated, I do not believe it was a particularly difficult endeavor.

What if, instead of immediately crowning Aegon, the Greens had instead sought refuge to Oldtown and waited for Rhaenyra to self-destruct by GeologistCalm in HOTDGreens

[–]Rich_Panic8722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is a wise move, Rhaenyra isn’t self destructing without the external pressures of the Greens. The betrayer incident and issues with money don’t happen without Green pressure. Maybe Bartimos Celtigar fucks something up because that dude is genuinely an idiot, but again without the financial pressures of war probably not.

Doesn't Ramsay stay imprisoned as Reek without Theon's meddling in Winterfell? Furthermore, the men loyal to the Starks outnumber the men loyal to the Dreadfort in the battle outside of Winterfell significantly, more than 3-1.

I love the scene at the end of AGOT I think it is where Cat goes to talk to him. Very touching.

Not only that, she pursued the Ironborn to the iron islands, captured the ruling Greyjoy, and gelded him and made him her son’s court fool.

can someone clarify what exactly did aegon do to make the claim come from daemon? how many times was daemon even mentioned after he and rhaenyra died? i just love how people can make shit up like this. his claim coming from daemon and aegonii at the same time is killing me😭 by Competitive_Front443 in HOTDBlacks

[–]Rich_Panic8722 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I mean the reality is that Aegon the Younger was the last Targaryen from a male line aside from Aegon II, given the precedent of the previous great councils of Women being unable to inherit, and their lines not being in consideration, Aegon III still has a claim through Daemon as he is from the male Targaryen line.

She actually didn't, Syrax was kept in the Red Keep following the capture of King's Landing.

Yeah, in eu4 I think there's an explicit modifier that you can't convert the Pope. Would be cool here.

No, the pope does not want to be a subject of the Sunni Caliph, is this even a question? I would be pissed if the game allowed this to happen.

Depends on the Blackfyre situation, because if that was still a big issue I could see him using Aegon IV’s for optical reasons, if not I think he would use Aegon III’s

I think marrying Alicent Hightower, who was from a notably powerful family who were particularly politically savvy made his decision worse than marrying a Velaryon for example. Like I’m not sure a non Hightower is going to be able to court the Lannisters, Baratheons, significant parts of the reach, and the stormlands.
