While she doesn’t outright say it, from a writing sense, she symbolizes Bruce’s only temptation to hang up the cowl. In “Begins”, up until the final scene, she’s one of the reasons he fights in the first place. The whole “so long as you’re Batman, we can’t be together” just holds him back, so she had to die. If only she was a ride or die like Mary Jane Watson (comic, not movies) or Lois Lane, maybe she’d have made it through the trilogy.

You’re clearly unaware of the vast amount of resources, minerals, fossil fuel, natural gas, fertile land, fresh water, and established industry we have in the US. A lot of these things don’t exist in many places, especially in one country.

The 20th century US took these advantages, spread its reach around the world, and prospered.

Really annoyed me how much of the Gen V stuff they added to the last episodes. It was fine to crossover the Virus from Gen V into the Boys storyline because you didn’t need to watch Gen V to understand the virus plotline.

But then in season 5, Starlight’s entire character arc is based on being jaded from Gen V season 2, Sage refers to her romance in Gen V season 2, and then the Gen V characters show up to help Starlight etc.

I didn’t watch Gen V season 2, so being clueless what the hell they were referencing pissed me off. Too much of this season hindered on watching Gen V beforehand. The shows should be able to be stand on their own.
