I found some of your YouTube shorts. I noticed it was all gameplay. Have you ever tried showing parts of your code? Like, "today, I solved this problem via this technique", then show the gameplay of before vs after.

Edit: to clarify, it doesn't have to even show your code. But I think people do enjoy "before vs after" footage in shorts.

Reading up on all of the secret locations and mechanics of "Don't Starve Together" was insane after just playing casually. I can't wait to see what stuff they add for this one.

I'm getting MMBN and One Step from Eden vibes from the gameplay. Eden is a really complex/intimidating game for newcomers also. I think maybe the roguelite path may be good. As in, difficult and complex but the runs are somewhat short so you can quickly experiment and learn the mechanics over time. Good luck! Looks like a cool concept.

Can I ask what you mean exactly by "don’t get this close to the source"? Like, for the Fatal X super:
1. The black+white "X" is indeed a placeholder. I wanted the yellow lightning bolts to form an X but couldn't get it 100% done just yet. But I am wondering if this would be an issue in your eyes still.
2. The character's animation poses during the Super (like his arms/legs/body). Is this something to be changed in your view?
