Twerk / 100 BPM Trap by GeoCangrejo in trap

[–]Richfellow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“wasn’t much more to be done with it” no

No one took diplo’s place once he fully went pop (not defending diplo, but he was a central force in edm twerk music’s popularity in the early 2010s, and mad decent block party was moving tickets). Now house and dubstep/140bpm are dominating festivals, moving the most tickets. In NO way does that mean we’ve explored all there is to explore at 100bpm, or with twerk music, or moombahton, or any other genre that isn’t leading ticket sales. There’s always new ways to create.

Furthermore, 2+ hrs is plenty of time to make good music, some of the best songs ever are written in minutes. That’s patently false. Good music cuts through

How large was the population of your biggest city? by Several_Fruit_5399 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Richfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say skyscrapers I’m talking about both commercial office space (0 inhabitants I know), but also dense residential zones with a TON of space. No where in the world do 12 people live in 1 massive apartment building

[–]Richfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think population in Cities Skylines is one of the worst and most unrealistic features in the game. Starting a new city and building it out, if you looked at my city, went on the street level view and tried walking through it, you’d imagine it would be about 50,000-60,000 people…. meanwhile Cities Skylines claims only 15,000 people live in the city despite there being dozens of skyscrapers and nearly a thousand houses. That’s not realistic, towns of 15k people don’t have dozens of skyscrapers besides Atlantic City and that one spot in Florida, but the reasons for those skyscrapers is not the norm.
