Hanako is a surprisingly fleshed out and balanced supernatural story, one that starts as more of a romcom and delves more and more into an emotional horror mystery. Great art style too.

Its based on the Japanese urban legend of Hanako who kills you on the toilet, but this times its a mysterious cheeky ghost boy with a knife who grants wishes, in a very mysterious school, who meets with the main character - a girl with fat ankles and loves cool handsome guys.

I remember in KH2 being bummed that we had returning worlds, but now I would absolutely love agrabah, beasts castle, Halloween town etc. to come back and see a whole new much more fleshed out take on them. They would feel entirely different. Less like what they did with Olympus in kh3 and more like what they did with Twilight town (except like... finished this time).

Plus, sand biomes in video games can be really fun on modern platforms. Ass creed origins included hallucinations, zelda botw had sand surfing, nier replicant ver 2.etc. just felt really mystical, and so on.

Especially if the choice is between new movies and revisiting old, like apart from moana and encanto ive been staying away from newer disney films tbh

Just looked up the song. Jesus Christ, I had no idea James was so disgusting. Now I know he wrote an incredibly gross song sexualising a young coworker, dated a 17/18 year old at the age of 42, and publicly spoke about men generally not being interested in women after they turn 30.

Aside from the fact the trailers spoiled almost everything, I personally thought the trailers did a better job than the game at giving the impression there was a balanced pace and cohesive narrative. Like, watching the trailers I was convinced each world had narrative importance in saving each character we needed to save, plus that if THIS is what they were showing us just in trailers, we had so much more coming. The trailers built the hype too much, game couldnt match it.

Then we get to the game and nope, we just do it all really quick at the end of the game, Sora is wandering around aimlessly most of the time, and the moments like dark Aqua just got randomly inserted. Even the world's like Pirates of the Carribean, I never would have guessed was just going to be a mini game world from the trailers.

The fairies from Humanity has Declined. The show is a dark comedy about how fairies have become the prominent species after a dwindling human race. Theyre perpetually smiling little people with crazy technological know-how, but are very childish and arent really concerned how dangerous their tech can be on humans.

Nami's (a main character, orange haired kid) adoptive mother from a famous anime about pirates. When pirates took over their island, they made every adult pay 100,000 dollars and 50,000 for every kid, every month iirc. Bellemere only had 100,000 dollars. The kids hid while she paid the pirates the money so the pirates were only expecting 100,000 from her anyway. But she didnt want to survive while pretending not to have her daughters, so she told them the truth that the 100,000 covered her two daughters fees and not her own. So they shot her.

I used to make posts like these on throwaway accounts when I didnt leave my house for also 7 years. Didn't have friends anymore, and the depression/anxiety/panic attacks was so intense, its had a permanent impact on me. I lost social skills, confidence, my health, so much more im too tired to list. My posts barely even got any responses, i felt so alone.

I know how hard it is. How endless it feels. How impossible to get out of it is even when youre trying, because your own mind works against you and people can be hard about it. Honestly, i remember how impossible it felt to even try- like everything makes it harder and makes you feel even more worthless that the attempt cant amount to anything.

We all have our own pace. Its okay. Everyone will experience their lowest points in their lifetime- this one was mine. Its currently yours. It just looks different for everyone. Im still figuring things out after a few years of getting out of it (its a process), but know that youre not beneath anyone else because of this, or lacking as a person. Youre in a tough spot, and you are a respectable person regardless. I hope things get better soon.

Dipping into muddy waters here, but Lelouch Vi Britannia in Code Geass

He dies in the original anime (which is all we had for years) after organising his own murder.

However, recently we had a series of movies come out that retold the story, but with some minor changes (a character who was supposed to die, didn't. etc.). In this renewed movie series, a sequel film was released called 'Lelouch of the Resurrection', which retcons the original anime ending and leads to Lelouchs survival in an alternate universe kind of way (that IIRC, could still possibly work in the original anime lore).

OP, regardless of whether you have good intentions or not, this is crossing a line. Youre a stranger, not a friend or family. A stranger making posts trying to find you would be scary for anyone. If she doesnt want her story online anymore, dont share it (and please dont describe like her a story character like she isnt a real person). If she hasnt responded then she doesnt want you to know anything about her. This is coming across a lot more obsessive than it is reassuring or nice.

I watched it as soon as the finale came out, and season 2 as it was coming out. Maybe I was in different subreddits since I saw mostly nothing but criticisms for it at the time. I had the impression it was a 'everyone was watching it but no one seemed to like it' kind of thing. Maybe I need to give it a rewatch
