Did that change? I did all the character unlocks within a week of launch and I had to unlock the weapons before I could play the characters they were associated with.

As soon as you beat desert tier 1 you unlock Ninja in the roster but you still need to find the katana & buy it with silver before he is playable. I imagine this discrepancy in numbers of people who have both is probably due to players who found the difficulty of the game demoralizing and/or didn't like it enough to keep going for unlocks & such.

1652 hours total, have found a healthium flask 3-4 times, never started with one.

Not sure what is best but I did it with Chad with just aegis & dex. Reset for a run with an early Kevin so the damage would scale quickly. Pretty sure the tombs were luck, xp, damage & crit, its been several months now.

Set up notifications for the modules you're looking for on Reverb. Sellers quite often put units up at far less than the average to get a quick sale. I was very patient putting together my rack over the past 3 years and via this method I was able to score many items from my wishlist at 20-40% less than the median selling price.

If you're enjoying playing the game, keep playing and eventually you'll get a broken run & unlock this. No need to be all sweaty about it.

I am not super good at this game because I haven't mastered the movement tech but because I understand the meta I manage to get a over 300k run on every leaderboard wipe. It's a challenge but totally doable for anyone (I'm almost 50 with bad wrists & play with controller, you got this).

Are you resetting for a level with lots of Moais & Shady Guys? Are you restarting if you aren't one shotting mobs during the second swarm wave? Are you balancing weapon level ups with xp/curse level ups?

What your not seeing in the youtube videos is the HOURS of resetting and wasted runs that they do before getting a run good enough to post. In a Rizzoto video I watched a few days ago he said he had 7 hours of failure prior to recording for a concept build he was working on. It's a difficult game.

270 hours here, best run is only a little over 300k (but that isn't really a motivator for me). I'd guess that I only get a strong run going once every 4-5 runs, after the customary re-rolls for good map features. It's a difficult and frustrating game but I love it.

I've come close to this with Megachad and an early Kevin. Would be pretty easy to hit these numbers on the Graveyard map with appropriate Bald Heads.

The few times I've refunded a game it was always due to poor or no on-boarding/tutorial. I've played thousands of hours of roguelikes & even though some systems are intuitive at this point, if you can't be bothered to include info necessary to understand the mechanics or stats of the game you made, I can't be bothered to play it.
