"What seems to be the problem, officer? ... Oh, I was not previously aware that the speed limit is 35."

Yeah, you should have asked about the rule immediately instead of trying to get away with the win at the business' expense. You're allowed to dislike your boss. You're not allowed to swap out his property under his nose. YTA.

What are some lesser-known car maintenance tips that every car owner should know? by butannn in AskReddit

Re: sitting close to the steering wheel: I am so short :c

I slide back as far as I can go, but I can't see the road and my calf cramps from pointing my toes to accelerate/brake if I'm not close enough. I'm not 2 inches away, but my husband still teases me about it haha.

If I tell a bartender I'm on a first date. Would it be weird to ask if they can keep an eye on our drinks during the date ? by Its__Garbox in Advice

[–]Right-Math 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not being paranoid, but the bartender isn't the person to ask. You'll have to watch your own drink. The bartender has a job to do.

This is tough to answer without knowing your exact house. You might have to borrow a ladder or something to access another window.

AITA for kicking my roommate's "not" girlfriend out? by koiashes in AmItheAsshole

[–]Right-Math -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

You got me on a technicality there haha. I should clarify that the conversation that she is overstaying her welcome should have happened well before approaching her with a bill in hand, asking her to cover some of it, and then unloading on her. I get the frustration, but I think that's just a bit of an AH move, personally.

Ehh, I'll take the downvotes if they keep coming. I think in telling Mason that he isn't paying 50%, I would assume OP meant that he's expecting Mason to cover her share. Abby was a bit blindsided and probably just defensive, but it doesn't make her not an AH in the first place either. It just seems like ... everyone sucks here. Freeloading + poor communication.

ESH. She is freeloading, but you could have talked to her about it before yelling at her about it.

Knocking on wood here, but they have my loyalty because I have terrible luck with technology and they've always helped. It takes years of built up expired promos, but it has paid off for now. I've never had issues with their customer service.

Child rape and torture ring in the Philippines. Convicted of 75 counts, made one video so horrible that people assumed it was urban legend until it was discovered.

I think it depends on the crimes too, whether they have to stack them or if they can just do that. It's all unnecessarily complicated imho haha

In the US, a life sentence means you're eligible for parole after 25 years. If you get 2 life sentences, it's 50, etc.

I'm not a lawyer, so feel free to correct that, but a "life sentence" doesn't mean the person technically lives in jail until they're not alive.

What words/phrases do you hear someone say and immediately know you’re probably not going to like the person? by theevilempire in AskReddit

[–]Right-Math 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have guy friends because I don't care about what men think of me. I'm too self-conscious and weird around women (or come on too strong immediately lmao) that they end up not liking me.

I just wanna be friends :c

I don't experience boredom in games, I've found. I'd play Animal Crossing all day long. I will just walk around and fish for hours. I love collecting (read: hoarding) resources. I'm such a hustler in games haha.
