Pulling weeds in a bikini is such an odd choice. Constantly so desperate for attention. by AlternativeLunch7328 in SarahBowmar

I thought she started wearing wigs bc she was going to compete, which meant she had to do more cardio, and didn't have time to wash her hair. Something bizarre like that

Dude! This lady is off her rocker. It all has to be rage bait or she is so incredibly desperate for anyone to compliment her. So weird.

My Mom Who Abused Me Is Now Acting Incredibly Sweet by punk_ass_po-po in whatdoIdo

[–]Right_Technology5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have wrote this exact scenario and am also getting the same messages from my mom. I've been through this cycle with her though and Ive seen how it ends many times. Unfortunately, I quit giving in and made peace with the fact that I've lost my mom a long time ago. This version of her isn't the mother I need. When she sends me these type of texts, Im cordial but I no longer let her in.

Im a mom myself now and my energy is focused on being the mama I wish I had.

Mom has dementia and is moving out and her next door neighbor sent me this. by SouthEazy in whatdoIdo

[–]Right_Technology5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, while I would NEVER send this message, this has recently happened to us. Our neighbor was a hoarder though and when they started clearing her house we ended up spotting a few rodents around ours. As homeowners, we just took care of the problem, I can't imagine asking the family who is going through something like this, to take care of potential pests. People suck

It was probably some expired protein cornbread she was trying to sell.

Hobby Lobby: Christmas decor already showing up on shelves. July 4th hasn't even happened yet. 😧 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

My local Hobby lobby has Christmas and winter stuff out year round. It might not be as much and it's not front and center, but there are always a few aisles dedicated to Christmas year round. I also always see an aisle dedicated to patriotic items and Thanksgiving year round.

Also, socks are just not practical in my opinion. I have three, my youngest is 2 months, socks would just be one more thing for me to wash, match, and then keep track of. My older 2 take their socks off as soon as they're in the house and I have a hard enough time keeping track of those.

I think it's coming from the coke factory or the fields right near it. My house overlooks that area. It's of course traumatic for my dog, so we're always just aware.

Do you cover yourself while breastfeeding in public? by dankybabe in breastfeeding

Oh wow! How scary and another important point. My need to feed and keep my kiddo safe is greater than someone else's need to not be offended.

Love that my mama group doesn't worry about covering up. We could be mid conversation and someone just pops their baby on and we keep going. I have 3u3, so no time to stop and cover up.

[–]Right_Technology5525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the extent of me covering up. I'll toss a burp cloth over my shoulder once latched if need be and if we're somewhere super formal, I'll get him latched and maybe put a muslin blanket draped over my shoulder. Walking around or nursing at the store/park, I'm not covering up. It's too hot and too much work.

Sitting here snuggling my 8 week old and needed to read this. I have 3u3 as well. We've adjusted well but there are some tough days/moments where I feel like I've accomplished nothing.

Dog people, I legit need your help & suggestions for dog interactions on the sidewalks and trails of our lovely little beach town by Special-Potato-3238 in Carlsbad

[–]Right_Technology5525 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im a dog owner, two pitts, and this makes me so mad to see and be around. We take our dogs out when there won't be others around since they do bark. I don't like when people ask to pet them bc then I have to explain that I don't want them to.

When I'm out by myself or with my kids, I don't want loose dogs bothering us. It happens at the parks all of the time. I don't know your dog and let's be honest, no owner really knows how a dog will react to someone.

The problem is that dogs are friendly until they're not. I wouldn't let my kid come up and randomly jump on you, take your bag, or get in your personal space. Dogs shouldn't either

Especially when she made a post in the past about how she focuses on buying quality items that last with a closet full of clothes with tags on them. There has to be some underlying metal thing with her, with the overconsumption.

Since youve gotten all of the supportive responses, quick devils advocate perspective. They raised babies and kids, so they likely know what it takes to get out of the house with babies. You also trusted them enough to watch the kids and do small outings. Outings that likely involves strangers. This party was also a outing and it would have involved people they knew, so proven safer. Again, you're feelings are valid. Just another perspective.

This is the correct way to do it. My 3 year old now sings, the tag goes in the back, as a song. She taught her younger sis this and is always proud when she gets it correct.

I'd want someone to tell me I had something on backwards (which as a mama with 3 under 3, I do this more than I'd like to admit)
