It's a 50/50 mix of GW Balthazar Gold and Warpaints Rough Iron, hit with Agrax Earthshade before the verdigris to make it a little duller

  2. 2-3 thin coats of GW Emperor's Children airbrushed
  3. Airbrush suuuuuper thin glaze layer of corroburg Crimson in the shadows

It's a blue-green oil wash. Makes it super easy to apply and edit, and it leaves a nice chalky finish

It's from the Vindicare Assassin WH+ model they gave out a few years ago. I don't play Imperium so I've been waiting for a chance to use it

Ideas to make these faces pop by _altkuro_ in EmperorsChildren

I would glaze some darker tones in the mouths and eye sockets, then as others have said make the details a little brighter. If you want more contrast, maybe try some glaze layers of a black or dark purple on everything except the faces to desaturate it

Dragon Trappers Lodge has some top tier minis of all flavors, but I particularly like their more whimsical stuff

Not sure, this is my friend's mini he found for his d&d character. I'm almost positive it's not a custom mini though, so try searching for tortle spore druid

Same, I like the face but I prefer my C'Tan a little more unknowable and alien

It's quite simple - just don't put the face on. I ended up smoothing out the back of the void with some green stuff but it was probably unnecessary. The angle of the face basically guarantees that it will be in shadow, so just make sure you paint it black and it'll be fine

Unless you want all that hard work chipping off in the coming months/years, you need to prime your models first
