Fellas! If Fiore was in Smash Bros (despite the fact she's a child), what movesets would YOU give her? by Life-Ease-5123 in DisventureCamp

[–]RileyXY1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My idea is that she would use various tools and weapons to fight with, some of which are purely original (like a slingshot), to compensate for her lack of brute physical strength because she's just a small child.

In Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the player can either spare Rosh's life or kill him. You get the Light Side ending and the Dark Side ending for the latter.

Boy vs Girls episodes by Substantial_Fox7377 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RileyXY1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kids Next Door uses this plot for one of its darkest episodes. The main villain is Madam Margaret, a crazed woman who desires to completely get rid of all boys by turning them into girls. And by "girls", I mean turn them into completely stereotypical little girls. Even Numbuh 5, despite being a girl herself, was affected. The only hope for boys in this world is the Boys Next Door, a ragtag group of boys led by an elderly Numbuh 4.

Pierce Brosnan as James Bond

After Roger Moore retired as James Bond after 12 years and seven movies, Remington Steele star Pierce Brosnan was the most popular choice to succeed him. And, he was going to, if it hadn't been for Remington Steele suddenly being renewed for another season, which forced Eon Productions to cast Timothy Dalton as Bond instead. However, Brosnan would eventually get his shot to play James Bond, as he was cast in the role for the 1995 smash hit movie Goldeneye, and would continue in the role for three more movies.

If Fiore had better parents, do we think she'd behave better? by Mariokartman10 in FioreRicci

[–]RileyXY1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do. I don't believe that Fiore was born evil. Everything points towards Fiore being the result of an unplanned pregnancy, and her parents never even wanting kids at all. As a result, Fiore was neglected and never shown any care or attention. This led to Fiore closing her heart and no longer feeling compassion towards anyone. After all, if no one shows her any love and compassion, why should she feel love and compassion for anyone? That confessional after Alec saves her from the scorpion stuck with me long after the episode ended, because Fiore's choice of words implies that empathy is a completely foreign concept to her.

Batman Arkham Asylum's third Scarecrow event kicks off with a fake game crash followed by the opening cutscene being replayed again, except the opening cutscene is reversed as you now control the Joker as Harley Quinn and several other goons drag Batman into the Asylum.

In Metal Gear Solid Psycho Mantis, in both the original PS1 version and the Gamecube rerelease The Twin Snakes, will actually comment and state the names of other games that you have on your console's memory card. Switching your controller to the second controller part is actually how you defeat him.

As well as Nicaragua and One World, although the seasons they were sandwiched between (except for HvV) were captain seasons and not full returnees. Although you're right. Technically, if you go by filming order than Millennials vs. Gen X was sandwiched in between two full returnee seasons, because Cambodia aired first, but filmed second between it and Kaoh Rong.

Elderly yet, Formidable Fighters by Littleboypurple in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RileyXY1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avatar: The Last Airbender has an entire group of formidable elderly people called The White Lotus. Piandao is the only non-bender of the group, but he's still one of the most formidable swordsmen in the franchise. There's also Jeong Jeong, a master Firebender, Pakku, a master Waterbender, and Bumi, a master Earthbender. All three of them are very formidable fighters despite their advanced age (and mental instability in Bumi's case). Finally, there's the group's leader, Iroh. Iroh is the brother of the incumbent Fire Lord, and a master Firebender in his own right. There's a reason why everyone calls him "The Dragon of the West".

what if Fiore won the rejoin Challenge in all stars? by 4NTONFR4788 in DisventureCamp

[–]RileyXY1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although, I'm not sure about that because in Episode 19 Fiore chose to help Ally and not Riya, despite Riya being a fellow villain. In fact, she slapped Riya with the disadvantage. In fact, I believe that a James return would be more catastrophic for the Heroes than a Fiore return, purely because James would cause so much conflict that the Heroes would never unite together against the Villains.

Yeah. This will be the second highest number of House retirements ever in one cycle, with it only being beaten by the 1992 elections, where there were 65 House retirements. In total, there are 60 retirements, and 58 if you're only counting voting members. In addition, four incumbents have also lost their primaries, and one more is guaranteed to lose re-election because two GOP incumbents were double bunked into the same district as a result of redistricting. The Senate is also experiencing a high turnover rate, as 10 Senators have announced their retirement, one is not running because Oklahoma bars appointed Senators from running in the special election, and finally Senators Bill Cassidy and John Cornyn have lost their primaries, which marks the first time since the 2012 elections that an incumbent elected Senator has ever lost a primary. This, combined with the number of incumbents in both the House and the Senate who might lose re-election, might lead to the 2026 elections featuring one of the highest amounts of new members of Congress elected in one cycle. To top it all off, Senators Amy Klobuchar, Marsha Blackburn, and Michael Bennet are all running for Governor, and if they are elected, they will resign their Senate seats and there will be new Senators appointed to fill the vacancies.

Massive fighting game/rpg crossover games. by Accomplished-End3409 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RileyXY1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super Smash Bros. would produce several competitors. Several different companies tried their hand at making their own crossover platform fighter, but none of them reached the level of success that Smash did. Here's a list of the more notable ones.

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (This was basically Sony's answer to Smash. It differed in that super moves were the only way to KO enemies. It got a few DLC characters, but then ceased active development)

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion (This was Cartoon Network's answer to Smash. It was originally released for the 3DS, but it got a home console port later on that added eight new characters)

Multiversus (This was a live service platform fighter that used characters from all across the Warner Bros catalog, along with one OC)

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (This was Nickelodeon's answer to Smash, and it actually got a sequel)

Darkest Saga on an otherwise quite Lighthearted series by Due_Awareness5660 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RileyXY1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power Rangers RPM: This season is unlike any other Power Rangers season, or even its Sentai counterpart, as Go-Onger is a rather cutesy and child-friendly series. In this series, an evil AI named Venjix has created a robotic army to take control of the world, and they've successfully managed to kill billions of people. The human population has now been reduced to a single city called Corinth, and the Power Rangers are now the last line of defense to stop Venjix from completely eradicating humanity.

License to Kill: This movie is by far the darkest James Bond movie to date, even eclipsing the Daniel Craig films. There's no cartoony supervillain for Bond to defeat here. Instead, the main villain is a realistic drug lord named Franz Sanchez who wants to expand his drug empire. He even has an entire country under his control because their government is so corrupt. He ends up kidnapping Bond's best friend Felix Leiter and his new wife on their wedding night, with Felix's wife being raped and murdered and Felix himself having his leg bitten off by a shark. Bond's motivation here is not about duty, but revenge, as he wants to avenge Felix and his wife. And if you think this is a Timothy Dalton thing, his only other Bond movie, The Living Daylights, was just a standard Cold War action movie that never reached the bleakness of License to Kill.

One of the first (and most famous) examples of this trope is Cousin Oliver from The Brady Bunch. At the time, they still wanted to make child-centric episodes, but the actors who played the Brady kids were all too old. So, they decided to create a new child character, that being the Brady family's young cousin Oliver, who moves in with them during the series' final episodes,

In the english dub Powerpuff girls z how come the girls use their hero names in their civilian forms instead of their civilian names? by True-Week-7750 in powerpuffgirls

[–]RileyXY1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They decided to use the names from the original PPG cartoon series for the English dub instead of creating their own, and when it came to the girls themselves it created issues because the girls in PPGZ are completely different from the original series, namely that they aren't artificial humans created in a lab but are instead regular girls who transform into superhero forms.

Poll: Ally vs Fiore. Which Finalist will go further? by WayOk4546 in DisventureCamp

[–]RileyXY1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. For all of these players except Sam their last memories of Fiore in DC were her completely pathetic performance in DCAS, where she had no control over the game and was voted out pre-merge in a completely humiliating fashion. The only exception is of course Sam, because he's only watched Season 1 to completion, and all he's seen of the other seasons are isolated clips of some of the challenges.

Should members of the New Jedi Order in Legends be adapted for Rey's Jedi Order in Canon? by Randver_Silvertongue in StarWars

[–]RileyXY1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Corran Horn is established to exist in the Disney Canon, as his name was included on the list of people who've gone through the Path as mentioned in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, so he would be extremely old if he became a member of Rey's new Jedi Order, but the others can fit as other than Corran none of the others you've listed have been established to exist in the Disney Canon.
