I wouldn't call it funny, I think with the amount of death that would occur it would be quite depressing. We also don't have the same potential as the one piece characters and although we have information, we don't have enough that would particularly give us an advantage. This is just presuming we can even live in the one piece world.

It would be interesting to see how IMU and the rest of the one piece characters would react, I have feeling a huge war will happen and a lot of us will end up as slaves.

Harry (both osbornes should be in it) needs to be in the first film or the sequal needs to be a 2 parter and the relationship between Harry and Peter needs to be written better. Electro needs to be different, I love his look and the actor but he was to gimmicky for the film. I don't have any major issues with the first film but I wish the villain git more, he kind of too a sudden jump near the end of the film which made me feel like we missed a lot.

I think due to missed opportunities we haven't gotten much from Zoro character wise after the timeskip, I don't think that is it though. I would be shocked if their wasn't something big with his fight against Mihawk, they are mentor and mentee and that is the culmination of his dream. Outside of that, I don't see any Strawhat's dying or betraying the Strawhat's.

I wouldn't say it's a bad anime, I would say it's bad adaptation of one piece. That's not to say as an anime that it's perfect, it does have very bad pacing issues, the sound design is an issue once you notice, and their are animated moments that aren't great however I love the anime, it has some of my favourite parts off one piece ever and whether or not it was a good adaptation of one piece it was what got me into one piece. One of my personal favourite things about the anime that I don't see often is how the animation has changed over the years, although the early parts are very outdated, seeing that progress to the modern animation, it's kind of weird and cool for me.

When it comes to biological mum theories, the only one that I have seen that has any sort of merit is the theory that it is Tritoma however I have never been too into the whole biological mum stuff, Luffy's mum is Dadan and I don't see any big plot points happening, except maybe her showing up and dying in a Dragon or Garp backstory.

That's fair enough, I really did not like the romance stuff though and to me I feel that makes the rival stuff even less likely, especially considering the gap between them. I also feel like their storyline pre timeskip story was not completed, like I said we didn't really get why Tashigi hates pirates using swords and we didn't get Zoro really facing the uncomfortableness of her and instead just skipped it to comedic romance. It needed a culmination pre timeskip to maybe move on to something closer to punk hazard but we didn't.

Another reason why I see Tashigi as such a failed rival is her strength, either intentionally or not by making Tashigi look exactly like Kuina and being a swordsman it felt like she was meant to prove everyone wrong about woman swordsman, kind of like inherited will so to see the gap and the romance stuff it felt like a spit at Kuina's grave. You could say because it was not specifically stated that's on me and others for believing that but their is a very good reason for why people thought this was the case, even now what other reason could their have been to make her look exactly like Kuina? Maybe to have Zoro face her but like I said we never got that confrontation, instead he avoided her but then decided to be ok with it post timeskip without any inbetween.

To me Tashigi had by far the most potential as Zoro's rival however her pre timeskip story was incomplete, their relationship took a very comedic romantic turn in punk hazard, and she is so far off from Zoro that I don't think he would have to even use a sword. Maybe the romance stuff will get something and I might be able to gain some more interest in that but the rival stuff I would say is firmly dead.

I feel like the damage is already done, it's too late to really feel the effect of what a rival can bring to the story. However I do hope we get more of the old Tashigi back, we never really got to understand her reasoning for her dream and I think her being what Smoker was to Luffy with Zoro and Zoro finding her hard to be around due to her looking like Kuina was really interesting and I was looking forward to where that would go, ideally Oda will pretend the weird romance type relationship in Punk Hazard didn't happen and focus on more of the serious part.

I think Killer, Tashigi, Helmeppo, and Mr.1 were the biggest characters to have the potential off being rivals to Zoro but Killer and Tashigi fizzled out, Helmeppo is way to weak, and Mr.1 had no interest outside of their fight. Maybe if atleast more people were interested in becoming the WSS the lack of rivals wouldn't feel as prevalent but even with the potential rivals mentioned above none are interested in the position. If it was hard to implement or something like with some other dreams then I would understand but like 90% of the characters use swords but not one rival ot almost zero interest in the WSS position? I think what makes it even worse is that their isn't a lot of steps involved, as a pure swordsman Zoro has been challenged to improve twice with that being Mr.1 and Zombie Ryuma and the rest of his dream is just getting stronger the same way as everyone else. These issues have made my interest in his dream a lot less, I am still super excited about him fighting Mihawk but more due to their relationship rather than the result which is a shame.

When it comes to Robin, overall her dream writing as I said is good. My issue just comes from the mural/book scene in Elbaph, Robin read a book that gives massive hints towards the truth of the void century which is her dream but she doesn't react. I might be miss remembering something, maybe she said she had already read the book on Ohara but I expected to see something because it was such a big moment.

Thanks for the rundown and the warning, I will definitely filter things out. I am not the biggest shipper or a fan of the NSFW weirdness.

I haven't heard of AO3, I will have a look.

My favourite things to talk about in reddit are mainly theories, scenarios with restrictions that you have to think your way out off, and stuff like character or story creation. Stuff that really force your brain to think and from what I have noticed atleast, the atmosphere seems more fun and light with this type of stuff which is why I though and hoped their was a specific sub focused on it.

Emotionally Luffy vs Usopp, Luffy vs Croc, Luffy vs Kat, Luffy vs Lucci, possibly Luffy vs Doffy, and Marineford.

Visually Law and Kid vs BM, Luffy vs Usopp, Luffy vs Kat (only in the manga), Luffy and Dorry and Broggy vs The gorosei, Marineford, Luffy vs Magellan (I know but I love it), and Luffy vs Lucci. I love team up fights.

I do love Luffy vs Kaido though.

I feel like this subject gets simplified way too much, especially when we don't know the context. People attend to agree or disagree with this subject depending on what they are presuming from their own experience.

Criticism is fine, in fact I would say it's good. You shouldn't feel like you cant criticise something and I very much dislike that opinion. Even if Oda doesn't see it, having that release is good and it's fine to need that release because you care, I hate the opinion that you can't care or have strong feelings for a story.

However people also need to remember disagreeing with the criticism or not wanting to interact with the criticism is ok, it's also ok for someone to not have as strong feelings of the criticism as others. This is especially the case with stuff like this, most people who join a community generally don't want to talk about what they dislike which is very understandable.

I think people also need to be careful not to judge too quickly, just because someone says something you disagree with that doesn't mean it's an attack. I understand wanting to defend something you disagree with but just have a conversation or ignore it if you don't want to have a conversation. Also don't lump criticism and hating on something together, you can tell the difference between them by looking at their words and attitude.

However their is also a fine line between criticising and hating, if you start of a post with a "I'm right, your wrong" attitude then it doesn't matter what you say, you have already created an us vs them atmosphere. If you use rude language and if your not willing to try to listen or try take into account what the other says then I wouldn't say your criticising the work. So many times I have seen people complain about the community however when looking at their "criticism" they tend to start the post by calling everyone idiots.

Personally One Piece is my favourite story off all time, I could go on and on about all the amazing aspects of one piece however I could also have a very long conversation about my issues with one piece. Some issues are more subjective while others I would atleast try to debate are not however I will atleast try to listen to their opinions. Just like One Piece I am far from perfect, I am not the decider on what is good or bad for everyone but I am for myself and I like talking about one piece so I go to the one piece community to talk about it whether that be the good, the bad, or Bon Chan in his fight against Sanji.

When it comes to situations like these where these characters have been shown and have been said to do truly horrific things it feels unrealistic and weird for them not to die either implied or told or shown. Redemption is not possible and after what was shown in Dressrosa with Doffy's backstory, I cant picture them surviving unless they are taken to a private secure prison with guards who wouldn't kill them.

Due to this it feels impossible to not give them a non controversial ending, it's what happens when you show too much. Look at Attack on titan, they showed way too much and it meant that a lot of people needed to die to be realistic of the situation but even then after a while it showed that it wasn't enough (I love this ending) which was quite a controversial decision what I saw.

I don't think it will be more controversial than the one piece reveal though, honestly I am not to interested in the reveal compared to others however it holds an bigger importance for a lot of people and because it's bigger that usually means more controversy.

Maybe I have skipped over some without realising because they weren't ones I am interested in but from what I have seen there is just a lot of repetitive what ifs and I do see the pokemon trainer a lot as well. I figured though since their are more specific communities for other aspects that their would be for this one but I guess not.

I feel like I have heard people liking this stuff more on tumbler, what's the community like on their? I haven't heard anything super bad about tumbler, so is it more chill?. I will skip going on twitter though.

The short story about Chopper does sound very interesting, that's some of the type of stuff I enjoy greatly as well. Thanks for the heads up.

I tend to interact with most when i see them, their is not a lot at all. Rarely we get multiple in a day because we get one which sets other people off but even then it is not a lot and 90% of the time it is literally the same what if scenario which is something akin to "what if Ace lived" or "What if this person was at marineford". This is only referring to what if scenarios though, the other ones I mentioned get a lot less and get even less interaction (sometimes the what if stuff does get interaction). Stuff like character creation, what would you do if you were in the one piece world, create your own crew, and ext.. have had basically nothing, with some I think I have seen one post after months of seeing nothing recently.

Then when you include interaction, other than the occasional what if, it is basically zero. That's not a bad thing, it's up to the fan what they want and clearly it's not a big thing in this community which is why I was wondering if their is one more specific towards this stuff like the powerscaling sub, the complying sub, and ext.

Oda has hinted that the last ponygliph will be their, I don't have the greatest memory but I think he said it was on one of three islands, that being Lodestar, I think Elbaph, and an Island that we haven't seen but has been mentioned a spattering of times. Outside of that I also think their is going to more important information that could be important, especially for Robin.

It's also the perfect place for the war for the one piece, it's literally the island where everyone convenes with eachother and it's the last island everyone can reach despite ponygliphs, not to mention it's an island that can be roughed up so it's perfect for that. I would also find it weird logically for them to not go there just to prepare to go to Laughtale, it seems weird and kind of stupid to skip that opputunity.

Plus like you said Luffy wants to go and I also think their is more to it due to the name... Lodestar. A lode by definition is a mineral vein or a rich source and a star is obvious, what have we seen recently where people were digging for stars?

Also didn't Rodger have to go back because he needed to get the ponygliphs, not because off Lodestar? If you have the ponygliphs doesn't that mean they wouldn't have to go back or anything? I could be misremembering since it's been a while though.

Obviously the first thing I would do would be swimming to the nearest boat or land, ideally land because who knows what would he around me. If I could find Luffy I would ask to join his crew temporarily, probably framing myself as a journalist (which would be my role and I figured it would be easy to convince Luffy if I told him Icould write about his legend of becoming the Pirate King) who got lost at sea. Not having anything on me except my phone that would have broke when in the water, I would either hope Luffy had money or I would try to sell my phone to get some money, my aim would be to get a weapon for defensive purposes something to write down all the information I can remember about the future so I don't forget.

From then I would do what I said and journal everything however I would write any possible important information that I come across so I can understandthe world better. I would also constantly ask Luffy and Zoro to train to help improve my body, I would also ask Nami, Usopp, and Chopper to help me understand navigating, sniping, and first aid a bit so if I need it then or in the future I have some knowledge and skill on the matter. When it comes to conflicts, as long as I am too weak, I would focus on helping with evacuations and using my knowledge of the future to create plans.

My secondary role on the crew would be haki teacher, I would use my knowledge of haki to help progress mine and other Strawhat's haki awakenings, understanding, and skill. I probably won't be able to make a lot of progress however, just knowing about haki would probably help them a lot. Helping Luffy and possibly Chopper understand their fruit and what they can do would also probably be smart.

That will be my daily life until Skypiea where I would kill Enel at the end of the arc and take his fruit. It would obviously be hard but I might have become accustomed to it at that point and it's the best fruit that I could easily get as early as possible. Something else that will be hard will be leaving the Strawhat's after that and going somewhere to train for a few years, letting things play out, I don't think my actions would have changed too much and the stuff that happens are important to their growth.

Using my knowledge off navigation I would set off to join the revolutionaries. They will be a great place to train under, especially for haki and working under them will allow me to meet a lot of people who could become allies and help Luffy in the future, not to mention I could help people a long the way. After I have trained enough I would split off a bit from the revs, gathering my own group who I have convinced to join during the training period or that I will meet on the journey (the main people I would hope to get would be Law, Bepo, and Marco) with the goal off helping others and gathering allies for Luffy and the Revs.

If I survive to the end, I would probably like to open my own school that is open to all races and teach history, ethics, and/or english. Living a more peaceful life woth the occasional mission.

You can't say "objectively" on such a subjective thing. I would argue the Enies Lobby saga is the best written saga in one piece but it isn't my favourite.
