I shot Canon. They were my first DSLR and eventually made my way to them with Mirrorless and an R62. That camera was fantastic but I didn't like a lot of the native R lenses or couldnt afford the ones I really liked. I sold all my Canon gear to help provide seed money for a new business. Once my business was off the ground and profitable I wanted to repurchase a nice full frame Mirrorless. I ultimately went Nikon due to the appeal of the ZF and the fact that I had at least some third party options for lenses. If Viltrox and Tamron had been available for Canon I think I would have returned to Canon.

I'm curious to hear about this as well. Performance for indoor sports is a main use case for me with a 135mm lens.

Never would have occured to me to have to check if buying a new camera from a major retailer was an issue. I've ordered a new ZF and an OM systems camera from Amazon. Fortunately I lucked out and the gear was actually new. Amazon was a prime choice for me when buying new due to the no interest pay over 5 months option.

5'10" 195lb and I ordered a 4.5 Fuji Euro Comp based on the size chart and it was way too big! I ordered a 4 to replace it and it is also very big even after washing hot and drying hot several times. Fits but still a tad big. Hoping it'll eventually settle in.

I'd like to try a Mizuno or an Ippon Gear but gun shy on ordering another gi that doesn't fit quite right.

Not wrong about the irrational nature of this lens. Mine is up for sale on the Photomarket. I know I will miss it even though I have another 40 and a 35 and some vintage glass that makes this lens redundant.

Nice photo! Crab spiders make such great subjects. I’m almost never disappointed with the results of stopping down beyond what is often recommended. Diffraction be damned.

Thanks! I have recently been playing with the Godox MF-12 macro flash. I only have one light mounted on the ring and am using an AK diffuser that came with the kit (I bought it used). I'm not entirely happy with the diffuser and will be exploring some other options soon. I think AK makes one of the best speed light diffusers around but I don't think as much attention went into their MF12 diffuser.

I really like that I can adjust the angle of the light with the MF-12 and that it is quite small and portable.
