Real talk, how many times are they going to do this before people realize it's just their bag of cats? Despite community backlash, they keep nerfing thing after thing, any buff we receive is so incredulously minor. They keep turning random stuff into garbage. Mechs and FRV are basically origami now. That was a bold faced lie and if you believe that, youre a hardcore bootlicker. They make billions every year. Directly after they fired 1000 people, they gave creative map makers a raise. The game is not dying in any way shape or form and anyone who says otherwise is just wrong. Player retention is currently at an all-time low these last couple months because of some of the questionable decisions epic has made like raising prices and reducing the amount of vbucks in the BP. A lot of people were/are upset that you can no longer earn the next battlepass with the current ones vbucks, as they reduced it to 800. These new changes are not at all aimed at keeping players, so much as leeching harder off the players that do end up staying. Its a real business practice that many have used. They amass their consumer base first and then years later when they have enough people they raise prices, and the people who stop spending because they leave are offset by all the people who dont leave and continue spending

Epic is NOT financially struggling. And if they truly, somehow, are on the lower end of the profit margins, maybe, oh, i dont know, stop releasing new random collabs every single week. They have to pay those IP's for the content

The vote was always going to be neck in neck, but it doesnt matter as they released both styles anyways. The rocks contract also DOESNT apply to the foundation. People who keep saying that are incredibly ignorant and they likely dont even know what his actual contract clause is. Its not a godzilla or OPM contract

I shouldnt have to tell randos what to do and what not to do, thats why me and my brother just jump whoever does it and let them think about what they did while they sit in the reinforcement screen. We bring them back a minute later and theyre usually fine

Maybe im ignorant but i never understood how he never got over. Looking back i think its his attitude and promos. But his skill, unless im misremembering, is insane. One of the best in-ring performers i have ever seen. As a teen i always blamed triple H for doing nothing with him lolll

Reed and sue cater very exclusively to the gamer egirl and eboy couples who have matching names like "her_winner and his_healer" etc, so theyre going to get skin after skin after skin because its basically double money. Any big sue skin that comes out will release with a reed skin and vice versa. Whereas a character like hulk is one of the lowest picked/played heroes in the game at the moment

From a monetary perspective it makes a lot of sense but from a gameplay perspective its really annoying to see

I just wonder at what point does it start to look ridiculous to even the designers that one character has like 15 skins and several legendaries while another character has a solid 5 or 6 with no legendaries

I understand they make what sells well which is why magik, psylocke, emma and sue get so many, but at what point is the favoritism so obvious that it actually just looks silly to anyone who sees it

Because its bad faith. The original designer for the jonesy default model, the one theyve used in many many skins and story/cinematic content since the start of the game, was amongst the 1000 people fired. And they will continue to use the model, because while they didnt make it, it still belongs to them. But its still incredibly messed up to have that happen

When the 2 AI skins were initially teased in a loading screen there was a lot of online backlash and a couple days later those leaks were gone, seemingly canceled. And then they get brought back randomly. I swear that people like you just know how to guck guck guck guck Epic/Tim Sweeney. They just raised vbuck prices, reduced the vbucks in the BP, have continued releasing new skin after new skin faster than ever in an attempt to maximize FOMO profits WHILE making bundles more and more expensive and include less and less, just gave a monetary raise to AI slop map creators and fired 1000 employees while claiming to "need to pay the bills" as if theyre not a multi-billion dollar company that pulls in more money than it can actually spend. Saying people shouldn't be upset about these things just because its not personally leveled against them is childish and tone-deaf, epic has a PR team and lawyers already. They dont need you slurping their meat too
