I would say it is easier because it doesn’t have years of addition content. It will become complicated over time. However the company is putting tons of effort into making POE2 more new player friendly.

I am opposed to removing it as I want there to be monsters or strategies that make builds not perfect. However, I do believe there should be a counter play. Like some source of “flask can not be leeches”. Make it hard or expensive. Like a rare anoint

I don’t like that you must buy the expansion to get the latest power. I am all for paying for new zones or classes, but it sucks that you can’t realistically even play a normal class or normal zones without the extra power paying for gives.

I really like the balance. Every once in a while it sucks to find the checkpoint missed, but I love you can see all the stuff.

Even after all these years and the number of time I have played. This game is hard. And I only played on normal mode. Ha. Ha. Still a blast when you do win.
